We've had eight years of "folksy" and "quaint". I know which way my little feet are running to vote.

      Dave,
I missed this the other day. That's really an awesome way to display a piece of furniture. Very creative and well done.

Beautiful project, and a great opportunity for you. It's good to here that Sketchup output is a good presentation tool.

The new icons are great touch to the whole.

One command that you might consider, which is buried deep, Toggle crosshairs on and off.

      Jim,
Great effort on this. This is something that a lot of people want, or can use. Those of us who have come from Autocad are used to customizing commands. It leaves one question though, why didn't Google put something like this into the program.

These are really fine. You have really got a grasp of the "Dennis Technique". Ditto about losing the dog ass in the foreground.

You never know what you're going to get. SU to Photoshop, and as the subject title suggests.

I like the concept. It looks intriguing. I'd like to see what it looks like with the lines reversed as Julian pointed out. If you have time let's see the other iteration.

    • RE: Interesting train of events...

Love the render Tom. Although I'm partial to VW Buses that one in the front is quite imposing and maybe too overwhelming. (You look like a VW bus type of guy, could be wrong, just my imagination maybe.) The render is well inhabited, and the trees are awesome as yours are always.

Sintra, I took your first image and ran a quick PS process on it. On one I used a slight textured background, on the other I left it off.

Wow Tom, the last three are amazing. Thanks for your description of your method. Your style is certainly unique, i.e. it is much brighter and colorful than the normal. "Viva la difference."
