I am sure I saw something about not posting photographs somewhere. That mate is the real deal.

I am sure if you only drink one at a time, there will be no problem. As long as you leave out the straw.

RE: [Tutorial > Modeling] Organic modelling
I get a report of 'image not found' when I try to look at Pete's images, is it the forum or my pc?

RE: Sketchup Does Weddings too! Who knew?
Sorry, too many different music themes and changes of tempo in that for me, it comes across as disjointed and confusing. Simplified it might work better but, this is just one opinion.

RE: Car renders
Majid, WOW. I was certain I was looking at an advertising studio photograph. Brilliant mate.

RE: In memoriam
The 'message' that I get is that extremism of all kinds must be rooted out and confronted with the real world. What is the real world? Well basically the world has a finite amount of the things we need and unless we want to fight each other all the time we have to learn that most fundamental lesson of childhood, sharing.
I even spotted a Buddhist monk saying that the slaughter of local Muslims was justified as SOME Muslims had killed SOME Buddhists. As a 'Trekkie' I really do not care what other people do in peace, it is the bovine around some power and influence crazed people getting others to kill for their INTERPRETATION of a faith or belief system.
Perhaps I am the dinosaur.
I just found a post in this very section of the forum and if there is anything to do for a faith this is it. This linked clip shows what any faith should bring us, joy.

RE: Electricity from wind
Very interesting return time for investment, I cannot see how that would work in a domestic setup but certainly of a size where this could be possible.

RE: Grumman G-44 Widgeon
Something I find quite useful is to have hidden geometry switched on and then move single points in a group to match other groups around them. This is handy when you use curviloft and find different sections with different profiles. You can see these as lines or bulges on the surface of the completed loft that look 'out of alignment'. Sorry if I am not being clear I will post a pic later to better show what I mean.

RE: Grumman G-44 Widgeon
Fantastic mate, really nailed the aircraft with that model, how about a render?

RE: Some of my works
I agree with Hellnbak, just saying you go to the next level does not cut it. Wonderful.

RE: 1899 La Jamais Contente (The Never Satisfied)
Fantastic model well up to your usual standards.

Thinking about adding some weapons, and maybe some wheels with high-speed hubcaps.
Nah just some go faster stripes and it's done.
Bryan, if you get tempted to do another flying boat there is a rather larger type that might make use of sketchup v15 called the Saunders Roe Princess. The largest all metal flying boat ever flown. Not sure exactly how it would match up to the Spruce Goose but it is certainly a big beast. Ten turboprops would make a bit of a racket though so ear defenders might be needed.

RE: Grumman G-44 Widgeon
One of the nicer looking floatplanes/seaplanes around and an interesting project. Lots of tweaking on the way I reckon but the start is good, as long as the plans agree between different views when guesswork is the only option to retain sanity.

RE: A personal WIP.
My mum learned to bake on that kind of range as a girl but was evacuated out of London when the bombing started. It was only used off and on after ww2 due to being so blinking cranky. The range would have been original fitting in the 1870's onwards.
I am trying to scale the component I have made from the plan and sketchup basically say's, 'Not today thanks'. More bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep.
Thanks for the kind words PB.

In sod's law, just when you think everything is going well, something comes along and trips you up. In my case it s information that trumps memory. I kept at the search for plans and found an estate agent that handled the sale of a similar house in the same street. This means the house is a whole five feet narrower basically. Nutz.

RE: Old villa
A nice reproduction and some smashing pictures/renders. Masterful.

RE: A personal WIP.
Almost finished the radiogram with turntable and radio. Visualizer render.

RE: More Franco Albini's furniture
Nothing to be sorry about there, really nice models and some highly effective renders. Thanks for the inspiration to keep going, always helpful.

RE: A personal WIP.
Making all the furniture from scratch so this might take a while. A radiogram/phonogram which my mother would recognise as similar to the unit owned by her parents.
