I am not actually sure if this is what you mean by messing up with the system but I think in installing the application, you just have to uncheck the option on installing the Google search bar. If it does not have a checkbox then you just have to change the homepage of their browser after finishing the installation for the school laboratory. There is a free version of the SU that you can download from the internet, see if it will do for your students. Chrysalis School Montana

SU7/Vista 32. When clicking on Hypershot menu - for a second or less black window apears and suddenly disapears - and nothing more happens. No mater how complex is model.

Hi Matt,

I don't know if this is what you have, but... Sometimes when you use the tape measure tool and move it while holding the left mouse button SU draws guide lines. If that's what's happening, you can get rid of them in the Edit Menu - Delete Guides.

Wow, those are some seriously long transition times. If you're working with a large site model, I'd suggest something along the lines of 10-20m/s for motion speed. Of course, it all depends on whether you want fly-by, drive-by, or walk-by speed, and the physical size of the site/campus.

As it is, you can use the multiplier. Select all scenes, use 1/5 as your multiplier, then click the "Apply to Selected TT", then click "Save Changes". That will speed things up considerably.

The Transition Time is a time in seconds that it takes to transition from one scene to the following scene. Your TT of 80 seconds for scene 1 is a LONG TIME. That's why I suggested using 1/5 for your multiplier - it will yield a 16 second TT (and other selected scenes will also be reduced by 80%).
