      Hi all

Been a awhile since i posted... so hello again
this may be completely unfeasible but thought i'd give it ago. I need to measure the gradients on some of the roads i have on a large terrain model. Or say on any slope in a model. You could do it one by one the old fashioned way. But was hoping somehow the slicer tool could be used. Would it be possible for a script to do this??
i.e to check if the roads are feasible say at 1.20 or if not, to what extent they need to adjusted.
Or does any body know if these can be done in any other software.

Played around on this in the past but dont think it will work..

      Many thanks

i think that the roof ruby has a reature whereby you can select a face and you can chose to display the degree of the slope, and the ratio.

        any help?

As mentioned, the TIG's roof ruby can do this. Im nto sure how well it wold work on more irregular surfaces like roads though.
