Can anyone advise me?
I recently bought a new 15" MacBook Pro, which has a better graphics card,RAM etc etc than my previous MacBook...I had the data transferred from the old machine to new one in the store. I then upgraded from SketchUp pro 2013 to 2014 and also installed the latest version of Shaderlight but all the bugs and glitches seemed to have migrated to the new machine?
These include;
The workspace rarely opening to full screen even though I set it as this in Preferences
The floating Entity Info Bar disappearing (even though it states that it is open when viewed the the window drop down bar). The only way I have found to rectify this is by resetting the workspace and having then to open all the floating dialogue bars that I find useful to leave top right on the screen.
The Shaderlight tools that I have set in the top tool bar (under the customise tool bar option) keep disappearing.
Most alarming of all is both SketchUp and Layout are unexpectedly quitting on me with the same frequency as they did on my last machine that was the entry level 13" MacBook Pro....a supposedly much inferior specced machine than the one I have just upgraded to? I had put this down to pushing the last laptop too hard but know I am not so sure as the models I have been working on with the new machine have not been large and should not have challenged it in any way?
Can anyone recommend the best coarse of action to iron out these glitches?
Many Thanks
