That is one of the things people forget, models are just edges and faces, so you can select the end and scale it, or the whole end section and so on.

Kind of difficult to give you a concise answer without seeing examples of what you’re now doing . Most effective NPR artistic style presentations are a combination of exporting various raw SU images , “ quick and dirty “ renders and manipulating them in software like PhotoSketcher then combining it all in a photo editing program. I can personally recommend the book “Digital Watercolor “ by Alan Casas it’s in the scetchUcation store. Also might be worth cruising through the Post Processing thread on this forum . Most of the posts are older but still good info and links there. Suggest looking a what others are doing and their workflows and then adapting that to your needs.

Reload only works on components. So save the contents of a file as a component. A component doesn't save views styles etc, only entities.

I use the 'Tools On Surface' (by Fredo6) plugin to reconnect lines. It will draw and constrain the new edges to the existing faces and make the task of cleaning this up pretty easy.

You can access advanced camera settings in SketchUp on the PC and adjust the near and far planes manually. Experiment with those settings. You may be able to reduce clipping but you may also find you create worse problems for yourself. [image: 2u9E_Screenshot-6_5_20208_32_49AM.png] In the Ruby console type Sketchup.send_action 10624 And hit Enter Someone made a little plugin that adds an item in the Camera menu. I disremember who and they didn't put their name on it. Probably TIG is the one to thank. AdvancedCameraSettings.rb

That doesn't seem to help but maybe more experimentation is in order.

Each style file contains a doc_thumbnail png image. You could edit the image in an image editor. To access it you would need to change rename the style file from .style to .zip. You could also replace the image with a new one but you would want to make sure the new image is exactly the same size and resolution as the existing thumbnail image. The default thumbnails are created from a SketchUp file which, on the PC is found in Program Data/SketchUp/...Templates. You could open a copy of it and modify it with your style and export an image to use for the style thumbnail. Or you could modify the model so you have a different appearance for the thumbnails for new styles going forward. I would keep a copy of the original StyleTemplate.skp around so you can go back to the original if you want. Note that won't change the existing style thumbnails so it's possible you could create a custom thumbnail model for just a limited set of styles if you wanted. @mark beattie said: Good day, Within a Layout file I've exploded certain viewports to adjust linetypes/weights but, after I try to snap any dimension to these lines, they seem to be reading more the size of the paper than any previous assigned scale. Can anyone help with this? Thanks, Mark If the Sketchup model was inserted as say 1:100 and you explode it, next time you want to dimension the exploded model just set the dimension up as auto-scale 1:100
