      Good day,

Has anyone heard of SU working on support for leaders and dimensioning using the Flux Architect font? It seems to be the only one I can't use and the only one I'd like to.

      Thanks,

      Mark

"Flux Architect" ttf font works OK on a PC [leader-text and dims], in the newer versions of SketchUp / Layout.
There were problems with v2017 in Layout...

        I'm not sure about MAC...
If you install the ttf what happens on a MAC in v2019 ??

There were problems with a few non-standard fonts like Flux Architect in some older versions of LayOut but it does seem to sort of work in LO2020. You can't see what you are typing but once you've typed it, it does display the text. Probably easier to do all the labels and other text in a standard font and change it to Flux Architect afterward.

FWIW, there's no way to know what they are working on but for this one, I wouldn't hold my breath too much.

I was curious and tried to open Flux Architect in FontForge. I get the following error messages.

Based on this I think the onus is on the author of the font to fix the font, not LayOut to add support for it.

Once it is open in FontForge it's easy to see how few glyphs it contains.

Can you use FontForge to rename it FluxArchitect or Flux_Architect?
Avoiding the space in the name ??

That doesn't seem to help but maybe more experimentation is in order.
