    • Undet for SketchUp 2022 new features for point cloud process

Hello, I am pleased to inform you that we released Undet for SketchUp 2022. We have created this short video tutorial to help you find your way around the new release quickly and easily:

Here is an overview video of UNDET Browser:

      Just to summarize:

You will find new smart snapping tools which allow you to draw SketchUp objects by snapping to point cloud points. The tools automatically recognize the orientation of the plane being drawn, whether it is a vertical or horizontal plane, and allow you to snap not only to point cloud point but also to existing geometry.

Direct integration with our point cloud viewer. Yes, that's right. Undet team is happy to announce the release of Undet Browser - a free stand-alone point cloud viewer, created specifically to help you view, analyze and navigate your digital data as a panoramic view. However, it's not just a simple point cloud viewer ... Just select an unclear 3D data point in the CAD model and the Browser will automatically deliver the oriented view from the nearest scan stations.

      Undet for SketchUp 2022 compatible with Trimble SketchUp 2020, 2021 & 2022.

Also, I want to highlight Undet Browser integration, which provides exceptional benefits and opportunities:

What do you think about the new features?

I would hardly expect any software company to claim anything other than having a great price for their products. Your saying it, does not make it so.

Hi Mike, If you have any other option to work with point clouds in SketchUp with better-licensing options and price list please share it with us. I believe that 50€ - 1-month license without further commitment is an attractive price and allows companies to easily expand when needed. πŸ˜‰

Is there some point clouds plugin better that "Undet"? (Undet is full of bugs ,and You must pay for that a lot) .
      Thanks for some advice.

Undet software is constantly developed. Now we are supporting SketchUp versions: 2017, 2018, 2019. Last releases of Undet for SketchUp plug-in are stable for professional work with very attractive licensing πŸ‘Š

It is currently the only add-on in the market, allowing you to use any size point clouds directly in SketchUp. πŸ˜‰

      Hi,

Yes, I agree that the first Undet for SketchUp version had a lot of bugs, but this software is constantly developing. The latest version is stable.
