Thanks Ecuadorian, I remember to have seen it a while ago. I've downloaded the trial.

Hi Mike
The first time, it's a little bit disappointing, milestones are not the same, we have to explore the whole page. Fortunaly I've found the Forum back. Levelled tutorials are a great idea, we can back to basics easily
Maybe you could use frames to separate topics for a better understanding.
MALAISE ( It's just my feeling, hope it will usable !) sorry for that frenglish
It's truth. Thanks to reminding. Even a small smile encourages !

Great, I'm going to translate it ant tell to my friends tomorrow

Hi Simon
Really good topic, and probably not a waste of time...

Hi Princedragoncok, Hi Inglobe Team
I like very much the way we see the building made stage by stage. I agree you, hopefully we'll soon have this motion implementation in ARplugin . Fantastic Youtube sequence!

Hi All
Solo, your running skeleton is first class

It could be a real good plugin for geologic modelling too
I mean to give the "bent radius and angle" to draw such things : (3D)

Yeah, Thanks Remus for playing attention to my question.
I made a bit confusion with working on organic shapes.
Pilou,
Réponse complète et précise, effectivement je faisais une confusion quant aux applications.... en un mot les Nurbs sont des surfaces ou volumes mathématiquement paramètrables.
Merci M'sieur et je pense ne pas être le seul à qui cela rende service.

Thanks for reply John, Jeff...
Pilou, I've downloaded MoI, and I'll play with it soon. Would you define what Nurbs are ? I guess I misunderstand the concept.
MALAISE
Hi Pilou
You're right, but as far as SOLIDWORKS is behind....Let's try it
I've changed a little bit the subject
MALAISE
Hi All
Browsing the web,to find a way to simulate organic form, I've found this:
http://www.cbmodelpro.com/
It's a beta release, possibility to get a key for unlimited use. Very intuitiv UI
after a short discovery, I exported *.obj into SU without any restriction ( may have to be rescaled)
Here a short test :
Enjoy

Hi Everybody
Ships and Hulls are your hobby ?
Let's see this free program :
http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeship/ (GNU public)
It's fabulous and quasi-professional UI to build hulls... ( export > *.obj into SU works )
8 models are drawn and you may build your own.Language option is implemented.
Thanks to his father : M.v. Engeland

For the Darwin's Year, we just know a little about Life on Earth. We are a limited specie, but the only one, that consider itself beside. In french we say: we are sawing the branch which we are sitting on....

Welcome Sharwe
You're already a good designer

Thanks Chris for the help !
I made a try on an heavy model, 92% of the missing faces have been closed.

Hi All
Would it be possible to "close" an imported mesh.obj file ?
Here is an exemple :
Weld.rb works for 2 beside edges, but not for a great collection.
Thanks for any advice...
