Please does anyone knows how to render it corectly? Similar problem (without enviroment background was in the post http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=322%26amp;t=43350 ) When doesn´t match enviroment background on the screen with render output, I can´t save image with wrong hdri lighting and whole work is useless... I have an idea - could be the problem in enviroment setting? [image: ZJTO_enviro.jpg]

I wouldn't be paying a render farm then. The point is to get it cooked in a hour or less. If I was going to wait 3 days, I would do it myself. I thought Rebus was working with Chaos on getting their farm to work? I'll check in with them.

I just don't get why people use refraction on window glass? Maybe someone can school me on it. I prefer to use thin cheat glass- single pane, just reflection with 100% transparent black or a little less if you want coloration. Refraction seems like something you really only need when rendering, let's say, a glass vase or something like that, no?

@andybot said: when you have a very bright background, the color will be picked up by the anitaliasing at the transparent edges of your render. A few things you can do. quickest is in photoshop - go to layer --> matting --> defringe, and use default 1 pixels make your background environment darker to match your underlying image. hide your background materials in your render (in the material properties, check the option for showing only in secondary.) You can then use your background image in your vray viewport by setting it as the environment background, and use "screen" mapping. Thank you - I have used enviroment photo and defringe in PS and both together works
