I recommend installing "undercover" from orbicule to all Mac users I run into.

RE: AutoCAD layout option
look up viewports. It is possible to have many viewports in a layout, but explaining this on a sketchup user forum seems beside the point. I suggest you look up the Autodesk user forums and launch your search there ? good luck !

RE: [Plugin] FredoTools::CurviShear 1.5a - 25 Aug 11 (ramps)
Respect, Fredo.
Every once in a while a gem like this is there exactly when I need it.
I'm going to include "difficult ramp for parking" here so people get this topic at the top of the list when searching. Many thanks ! -

RE: Do we have a Joke Thread goin here?
what is it you get when you cross an insomniac, an agnostic and a dyslexic ?

RE: Big File Sizes/ High Poly
in the basecamp tutorial section there's a tip for this.
The essence is that you can make scenes without camera positions.
This way the scene tab behaves like a display mode.
Per tab you retain full control over displayed layers and such, as mentioned by earlier posts.
Good luck ! -
RE: OS X Leopard: mousebehaviour

RE: .studio console. ++updated with pics++
good work. Sketchup is the way to go when aiming for correct abstraction. By this I mean
viewers get a chance to muse about materials and such. The resulting dialog I find to be richer than taking the shortcut called photorealism.
