My workflow in SU2018 with the advice you and TIG suggest is followed but I leave it to ThomThom's cleanup tool to move everything to layer0 When I'm happy with it.

Keep raw geometry [edges/faces] on Layer0.
Always have Layer0 set as the active-layer - never change it.
Select commonly oriented faces [double-click to select their edges to] and Group, or make Component if you will use the same thing repeatedly...
Make a new Layer if a suitable one doesn't already exist.
Now use Entity Info OR the Layer toolbar drop-down and assign the Layer to that Group/Component...
Now these will switch on/off in the Layer Manager dialog and there's no confusion about some faces having edges that on other layers an so on.
Remember that Layers control visibility BUT a Group/Component separates the geometry - think of each Group/Component as a separate mini-model within the main model...

Wow this is just what I was asking for just the other week, but no one who answered seemed to remember it. Maybe it is just my machine but backing out of components is a PITA. So slow sometimes.

Now for the opposite (key command)+click on an entity inside a component to open (edit) that entity's component (/group) to raw geometry level.

As for auto-login: you also need to make sure your browser accepts cookies for sketchucation and they are not deleted when you close the browser. To make it "safe", you could also try to delete older sketchucation cookies first then log in as per above (it will set new cookies) and hope that it stays like that.

Yes I have found a way to do a .BAT / .CMD style way very simple indeed

It appears just by deleting two specific keys instead of all has the same effect as resetting the DAY one toolbar
option. Then re-instate the deleted keys restores the two deleted entries without duplicate errors. These re-instated
keys do need the correct data 😕 not a problem will get to the bottom of it. "reg import whatever.reg" quick fix 😎

It shouldn't in theory matter if you have thousands of useless keynames but it does because of a possible bug that's known. TT said so, I take his word as the truth 😄 Love your work Thomas 😎

Will get back soon.. But the two keys we are interested in are ToolbarsUser-Summary / ToolbarsUserCustom-Summary
if they don't window each other its a problem. The data stored in those keys isn't hard to comprehend.
