Yeah, I agree with "allanx", but is a free (and old) version, thought it works very well.

      Hi,

Once model is imported in Kerkythea, go to view - adjust - solid rendering.

    • RE: Comments please!

      Hello,

In my opinion, it's a very good scene and materials are top-notch, the only problem I see it's that the light isn't provided from the window (in fact I think is a picture applied there) and the scene, if I'm not in error, is enlighten by two different sources (i see the projected image of the lamp on the wall with the window) , better use an hdri image, you'll see the difference (put gamma value 1.2 if you use kerkythea). πŸ˜„ πŸ‘

    • RE: Google is Listening!

      Hi,

In my opinion it will be essential to bring in SU (free and pro - especially free) linetype, lineweight, hatching, even it's a 3D modelling tool. (in fact, we all need a 2D plan before 3D modelling)

    • Balustrade with components plugin seems to fail in SU8

      Hello,

Long time no posting, but reading all your interesting ideas about SketchUp.
In SketchUp 8, when I try to work with balustrade with components plugin, I receive the next message:

      Error Loading File balustrade_components.rb
      C:/Program Files/Google/Google SketchUp
      8/Plugins/balustrade_components.rb:228:syntax error,
      unexpected',',expecting')'
      if (n1.between?(n2-interval),(n2+interval))

      Any advice?

    • RE: [Plugin] 2D Tools

      πŸ˜„ Hi all,
I am new on this forum, and I want to tell you that in my opinion it will be nice to exist a possibility to apply vertical dimension between two or many points just clicking on this points (dots) and then the program will generate dimension with a little black triangle and text- +1.00 for example), without
      β–Ό
showing some auxiliar lines between points.
I think it will be very useful when applying this tool to create vertical dimensions on a building.
