RE: Whats Your Best Method Of Animation With SU?
Ashscott what exactly are you trying to animate anyways, i use SU to animate constantly, and im happy with what i can do with SU, I wouldnt look into purchasing outside programs unless i really had to, PM me if you like.

RE: Whats Your Best Method Of Animation With SU?
You know what, i prefer Key_Animation, the feature which enables you to animate subcomponents is fantastic, and rotating is also flawless, i use keyframe more than su_animate because its simple to use, su_animate can be technical at times, i still didnt play around with the keyframe function in su_animate and i dont think i ever will either because keyframe animation does what i want it to do, also looking at keyframe_animations next features for future relises looks even more promising, for example the scale animation feature where you can animate scales, so an object can srink or double in size in the animation, amazing, looking forward to playing with this feature, and just so you all know keyframe animation is far cheaper to buy than Su_animate, need i say more, keyframe_animation is far better if you ask me

RE: [Plugin]$ Keyframe Animation
On a good note, after PM with Regular Polygon i was directed in the right way on issues i had with keyframe_Animation and sub componants can be animated in a parent group/componant with simply highlighting the subcomponant within the parent group/componant and recording the subcomponant, and then recording the parent componant in the same scene, thank you Regular Polygon for your instructions, remember i never doubted you Doug

3D Animation Suggestion
Ok i taught id suggest a plugin to all those ruby script plugin experts, i have being looking for a plugin where it allows to export animation in 3D, in my search i came across this plugin by http://www.smustard.com/script/Stereo
which allows 2 images to be exported at slight differant angles so a 3D image can be viewed from, as good as this is it doesnt export animations, so what im suggesting is that an animation from 1 skp file, generates 2 skp files with the same animation but with 2 slight angles where the animation can be viewed in 3D, i am aware this can be done in Lumion as seen herehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uxrv6ZJLIG4&feature=related
But im looking for this to be done only using SU, now im suggesting that there are 2 seperate skp files exported because this will give you the option to render both skp files seperately to give a photorealistic 3d animation, here are 2 stills iv created in SU and rendered in shaderlightAnd here is an example of what a rendered 3D Animation would look like

RE: [Plugin]$ Keyframe Animation
@regular polygon said:
iichiversii, technically you could do this yourself in version 1.5. But to imply that it is simple to do, and no plugin is necessary to automate the process, is just plain false.
When the tweens are created for an animation, there are usually 500+ tweens, often over a 1000. Are you really going to go through 1000 scenes and manually adjust the visibility of the layers for each one? Even if you could update one scene every 10 seconds that would still take nearly three hours. You must have a lot more time on your hands than I do. I think most people would consider a script that automates this process to be a new feature. And that is probably why I received so many emails requesting it.
Im sorry if i offend, i didnt understand the feature fully, normally i do short clips with 30-50 tweens, i adjust my tweens then with layers, doesnt take to much time to do with so little tweens, im a great fan of keyframe_animation, with out it i wouldnt be able to create the animations im doing now, looking forward to the new updates, thank you

RE: Whats Your Best Method Of Animation With SU?
Yes it can, i havent tried it but it can be, if i had the Blender knowledge id be doing it all the time, im sure there are tutorials on the web on how to import them
