hello,

while placing an image on a wall the image disappears in the wall. further i have some difficulties in placing this image on a wall rectangular to the first one, it does not naturally goes parallel to this wall. therefore i try to rotate it but the rotate tool does not do wat i want
how can i make this work?

Hello,

I want to cut off a part of an image which i imported in SU. I put it on a face of a group, but some parts go over the edge and need to cut off. I tried many things but didn't succeed. Only scaling on one side deforms the picture too much.
What's the solution for this?

hi all,

i'm trying to make a drawing of one of our exhibition spaces and it contains a gothic window. I can't get it right, there are showing all kinds of lines i don't want as you can see on the attachment. Left is how i start, right after using the move tool pushing the middle to the back.
How can i solve this problem?

Thanx for the replies.
I will experience one and another. What i try to reach is making walkthroughs in exhibibition spaces and having texts apperear about the different artworks that pass by during the trip. Maybe i have to include different scenes where texts appear and disappear, the way Pbacot describes. What do you think?
Sorry Tig, i realized that i should post this question in the Plugin department, instead of SU wishes. Thanx for merging them.

hello,

i was wondering if there is a way (or a plugin) to show text when moving the mouse over een object(group, component). i work in a museum and using SU pro 8 making drawings of the different exhibition spaces. It would be nice when titles appear when you hover over an object.

How can i share models with people in the best way and not give a chance to change them. If they have SU or SU viewer themselves how can i lock my model or give them only the views i would like? Only 2d graphics is a bit boring.
Or is 3pdf a good way?

has somebody experiences with a 3d pdf program? I would like to share some models with people and i think this is an interesting way of sharing stuff and also others can not change anything. I saw Simlab has a program and also on this website one was mentioned like share 3d pdf.

Since a few weeks i've been using SUpro and the walls, even white, get so dark while rotating the view. Can this be changed in one way or another?

I was looking for the plugin 'Mover'.
On a Dutch forum this plugin was mentioned in order making an animation in which
the viewer walks through a room and doors open nicely before you walk onto another room.
My goal in using SU is make drawings of different rooms, maybe fill them with artpieces, animate them,so people can have some idea of what is possible in an exhibition space.
maybe also other plugins are usable in this case.

Hi, i'm a new SU user and want to learn from all the stuff that's available on the web. I'm dutch and work in a museum.
My first question is about plugins, i noticed that some files in the plugin forum are not available becaus ei'm not a member of a group. How can i get access to that?
