hi all ...
the blue red and green axes lines have gone from my model how do i get them back?
hi all ...
the blue red and green axes lines have gone from my model how do i get them back?
Chris ...
That would be great ... any tools to speed up masterplanning models would be great ...
close to what it would love to have not not quite ...
for eg: ...
if i specify that i would like to extrude all the selected faces to the following heights ... 9m, 12m, 16m ... greeble gives you a min / max in which i would get a height of 10.67m and 11.43m etc ...
push pull randomly to specified heights ?
hello ... is there a ruby which you can selected a bunch of faces and then input a range of distances for these faces to be extruded to and then hit random generate ?
hi all .. what do people think of this one ?
True that the files would be large ...
How about grouping the plugins into categories ...
hello ...
Im knowingly going to post this expecting some hostle response ...
Would it be possible to have a link at the end of the plugin index to "Download All" in a zip file ?
I would like to learn ruby but as I'm not a genius it just looks like a jumble of words and characters to me ...
I couldnt decide 3 so anyof the below :
PurgeAll
Make Faces
Frontface
Weld
Default Layer Gemometry
SceneExporter Pro
Extrude Tools
Curviloft
Curvishear
CD STANDARD & CD TOOLSET Toolbars
Zorro
Move to Orgin
Remove Materials
joint push pull
1001 tools
Hi guys ...
i was wondering is there is away of providing sketchup with the ability to record keystrokes to perform tasks ...
like for instance i have "T" as a shortcut for Top View ...
what i would love as a simple example use for this ...
would be to create a macro that when i hit "T" ... sketchup zooms extends and then changes to top view ...
chris
why not just turn on the extensions in styles? ... or do you actually need the lines drawn
I shall check this out tomorrow and report back, thanks and I too work in larger scale design work ... masterplanning
tig ...
thats not what im proposing / requesting ...
my workflow to drape a terrain from 3d cad ...
import cad data, purge layers, triple click first contour and weld ... repeat upteen times for each contour so they are all welded ... run simplify contours on the new welded 'curves' ...
Run From Contours in Sandbox ... wait and pray ...
i would like a script that would be able to weld all the contours simultaneously .. rather than what i have to do atm which is to weld each contour based on z value separately which takes a long time to do ...
is this possible?
chris
Hi all ...
could somebody write a script that would weld all connected contours lines in the model at once ...
also would i be possible to incorporate a simplify feature with it aswell?
thanks
chris
extend lines / arc ...
hello all ...
plugin reqauest ... i know you can extend 'edges' using one of a few tools one being in 1001 tools ...
would it be possible to enhance this code to extend an arc along its radial property ...
[if there is one already out could someone point it out]
what do you think?
chris
Im really not seeing any point is 'upgrading' as there are no real improvements that i can see upon first glance that actually impact on 3d modelling workflow ... at least for us users who use the various plugins ...
i was after something that could colour code each category of height that the user can specify in a dialog:
Yellow: 0>4m
Orange: 5>9m
Red: 10>14m
green:15m>20m
blue: 20>30m
black: 30m+
Hi all ...
i was wondering if a script could be written that would automatically colour code top-facing faces either by layer or material based on their z axis attribute ...
this is to produce a 2d building height plan from the 3d model ...
Thanks in adavnce
Would it be possible for a script to be written that would allow an import of another model but without bringing it it's internal layer structure ...
Also to place this model on a new layer within the current model named "filename.skp" ? ...
