Just discovered this plugin. Installed it and tested it with faces and components including multiple selections and it works like a charm. Thanks! It will come in very handy for window openings.

RE: [Plugin] Sketchup Ivy
Noticed something the other day. When I open a new instance of SU8 it loads all of the "ivyleaf" components into the new model. It also loads these same components if I open a drawing from Windows Explorer or using the File -> Open command. It won't load if I open a drawing from the pull down menu withing SU or if I start a second new drawing.
This is using the latest version of Sketchup Ivy from the first page. Not really a critical issue for me but I thought you might want to be aware of this. Didn't see if this was brought up in the previous discussion.

Looks very nice Andre. And thanks.

RE: [Plugin Library] LibFredo6 - v15.6c - 10 Dec 25
Fredo,
Is there any way to keep "Check Plugins for Update" from opening at startup of SU?
Update:
Never mind. I figured it out.

RE: Hopper Dredger "Crane"
Excellent work as always. It's as if though you can almost touch it.

Gus, I'm keen to know how you get an octagonal centre proxy when you SDS...
I formed the proxy manually if that's what you mean. The octagon is just a polygon or a circle with 8 sides. I didn't use the "Subdivide Selection" here. Just the octagon using the circle tool and then the lines with the line too and moving everything up from there.
Here's a quick .skp showing the steps.

Thanks Rich. It's an honor to be in such company.

RE: 28 Free Hardwood Flooring Textures
Nice find Rich. That will be useful for more than flooring.
A note however. Those are CMYK jpgs which have to be converted to RGB in order to work in SketchUp. At least on the free version of SU that I'm using.

RE: [Plugin] Curve Maker v1.2.2 - 7 March 2011
Excellent plugin Max. The update makes it even better. Now I can create curves including the common helix on the fly and they line up perpendicular to faces.

RE: [Plugin] Roof.rb

What version of 'old' Roof do you have that works OK ?
The 'new' version shouldn't differ [but clearly does
]
Right now 3.0. Which I put in the tools directory because it conflicts with Artisan. The one that isn't working correctly is your latest, 3.1, which I put away after I noticed the problem. -

I can reproduce the problem using your example SKP.
Currently I am a complete loss to say why this might be happening...
I'll sleep on it and come back to you...
Thanks. I have a workaround which is using the old roof.rb in the tools directory.
Got a house rendering job in today (first one in a while) which is why I just noticed this. -

 Not to be a pest but something isn't right. The "eaves soffit size" is resulting in erroneous dimensions on opposing sides. For instance I input and eaves soffit size of 24" all around but I wind up with 1'-9 3/16" on one side and 2'-2 1/2" on another. Another conflict perhaps or am I imagining things. Did this with a "new" skp as well. Any ideas? Thanks.
I assume this is with 'gable-roof' ?
The other tools all offset equally anyway ?
I can't reproduce any error...
On a hipped-roof the overhang is always equal too ?
Can you post a SKP that will give you the error [or PM it]...
I can't break it
TIG OK, here's a skp file that I just created. Looks like the gable roof comes out good but the hip and mansard result in the same overhang dimensions. This is all using default setting on the ruby.rb.

RE: Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Couch - Component
Thanks Rich and jsteacy.
Rich, it's the least I can do after scooping up so many great free plugins and tips at SketchUcation.

-
Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Couch - Component
Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona couch component in full and light versions.
-
Mies van der Rohe Barcelona Table - Component
Mies van der Rohe's Barcelona table (aka X table) component in full and light versions.
