Thanks for the tip man!

How isn't it working ?
Is it installed OK ?Think so, basic geometry (circle's,etc) worked OK, once it gets a bit more complex I get no respond (or a 'freeze').
Here's a very simple shape made with the Uniform B-Spline, no idea what's wrong as it seems 'clean' enough

RE: A cross - Plugin for dissecting shapes
Oh killer, thanks for all the info! Will defo look into that! Cheers

Just wanna say that this plugin is them bananas. Super, SUPER useful.
Cheers.

I don't understand what it is you want to do but, if you are trying to place multiple components along a curved path you could use component stringer or copy along path.
Copy along path doesn't rotate, IIRC
thank you very much Pilou and Cotty, sounds great

Draw the circle once, split it in four quadrants make it a component and copy 80 times, or insert it where ever you need it. Make a few different ones, colour them so you know the orientation on a specific axis or just blank.
Basically make what you want and take advantage of the benefits of components.
yes but that doesn't really solve my problem of applying a component perpendicularly on/to a curve..

A cross - Plugin for dissecting shapes
Does any of the existing plugins can sort of dissect a shape in 4 equal parts? Sort of like cutting a cake or pizza or a chart. You know, sort of like the 'Add Centerpoint' plugin, but with two lines crossed at 90 degrees, a cross basically
I have to do this to, like, 80 circles, so a tool for this would be super good
I use them for applying shapes in correct angle/rotation/axis, and the dissection helps me with that (I extrude one of the four parts [of the circle] so I can rotate my shape, without it its kinda difficult)
Ummm... maybe there's a way more simple and faster way of doing this (copying shapes on a curve perpendicularly (is that a word?), for now I'm using the circle from TOS/tools on surface....
Tried the 'Draw Bounding box' plugin, but obviously it creates a box in the 'general axis' axis
Any tips?

RE: [Plugin] Super Drape
Any vid/tuts about using this? Can't get this to work....

Geometry..... thank you very much, sir!

Applying (pre-drawn) shapes to (curved) surface?
Hi there
I've searched for this, but it seems there ain't anything that answers this ....
So is there a way, or a tool to do this? Thing is I think I remember some of the plugins could do it, but I've got kind of a big mish-mash out of them......
Thanks for your suggestions

RE: [Plugin] Selection Toys
So umm pardon my lack of 'research' into these toys, but is there a function to recall previous selection? Sort of an 'Undo' / 'Redo' in the selection's 'universe'..
No? Sheeeet
Cause ummm.... I don't know like you guys, but there's a lot of Homer-style D'OH's goin on when I .... select stuff

RE: [Plugin] BezierSpline - v2.2a - 22 Apr 21
Hi there
So I'm using this a lot, umm is there a way to 'disable' the initial [Uniform B-Spline] dialog (with the Order parameter), so it would stay at the default '0' / automatic, or whatever value [without the dialog]?
Cheers

RE: Can you make locked objects unclickable?

If you work in a certain editing context, anything outside that context (higher level) is unselectable. Even unlocked entities outside the context can not be selected.
Ah yes, this could be a 'workaround', thanks for the hint

Can you make locked objects unclickable?
It would rule if you could lock some objects which you don't wanna move around or change or anything, that would just sit there and which won't 'select themselves' when you do a basic 'rectangle selection' [top left > bottom right or vice versa].
Innit?
So, can you do this or?

Scenes without transition
Quick question; is there a way to turn off the 'fading' transition when switching between scenes? Like when you switch between cameras...
Thanks for your time

RE: Plugin Request: Hide Bounding Box
I would also be interested to know this. It woulda be easier to see things, especially when arranging/moving symmetrical components [how they "touch together"]...

RE: Scaling; can I change the center of geometry?
Oh that is genius, didn't know about this functionality. Thank you
