That's sad....i remember when it got hacked last time.
It's a great forum with some great people and I hope they find the energy to get it going again.
pretty cool
would come in handy for being able to measure existing buildings without a tape measure...!

Found the Provari Mini here > http://www.vapebar.com.au/provari-mini/
Looks a bit different from yours Oli.
AU$195......I have no idea if that's a good price or not.
Or, they have these starter kits > http://www.vapebar.com.au/categories/eCig-Starter-Kits/
It's not different from mine it just has a different atomizer head. The price is normal, but I find it very expensive for what you actually get.
The provari mini is a nice size but with bigger atomizers the battery only lasts a couple of hours. Build quality really is excellent though. I would recommend getting the normal size Provari (like Pete's) over the mini purely for extra battery life.
The starter kits are OK but you will quickly start looking for something better. If you are looking for a starter kit I recommend the EVOD BCC over the Ego atomizer, so you will need to find another website if you want a good starter setup.
It all depends how much you want to spend of course...if you want to spend more we can point you towards some higher end setups. What budget you looking at?
Hope things are still going well for you Pete.
Hiya Oli,
Money isn't the dealbreaker really, something reliable and of good quality is though. And getting everything I need all at once is also important.
And I am getting a little confused when I see words like atomiser, cartomiser and clearomiser...!! Some of the deals i read say these are extras...which is even more confusing.
I'll get there in the end....but need to be active about this while I am still keen.

FF 99% good... where is 'search by author'... ?
does that mean the author must do the search by him/herself...??!!
Kwistenbiebel, you mention you are living in Western Australia now....I am in Adelaide
Do you buy yours over the internet, or are there some shops where you can purchase them from ?

I wondered when it would descend into this!

I don't understand why you think the SU2013 toolbar thing is a bad idea. You can customize the toolbars to display only those tools you need and save real estate for plugin toolbars and you can change the size and proportions of the drawing window without wrecking the toolbar layout. And when you're opening toolbars you don't have to continually hit View>Toolbars to pick each toolbar individually. Who wouldn't want that?
Well when you put it that way I am compelled to agree.
Although it is the process, in my view, which is a little inconvenient. But now that I know how to do it (which was fairly simple thanks to your succinct tips) it looks neat and clean...and yes, the Plugin toolbars are now nicely seperated
Yep, I remember having had the scrambling issue a few times in previous SU versions and thought it was my computer's fault when it happened. I don't recall it happening in SU8 though.
But I was referring to the Toolbar layout arrangement in 2013 being a bad idea.
Anyhow, your idea works brilliantly. Thank you for your advice.
I genuinely appreciate your help and I now have a Toolbar layout I am comfortable and familiar with.
Thanks Dave
.....I'll give that a try (I'll blame you if the windscreen wipers come on....!!
)
Whoever thought that the new Toolbar setup in SU 2013 was a good idea ?

...and here I am a few hours later trying to assemble my toolbars the way I have always been accustomed to, and without any success.
Do you have a screenshot of what you are trying to reach?
yep.....the same as Dave's screenshot
after 9 years of having my toolbars on the left side, it has become instinctive to find what I want quickly and effortlessly
a good anology is this....I have always owned a car with the indicator arm on the right side of the steering wheel column, my partner owns an Audi and the indicator is on the left, When I drive her car I frequently turn corners with the windscreen wipers on....!!
My point is that sometimes it is too hard to retrain the brain....!!
Anyhow, where do I find how to make Custom Toolbars like Dave's ?
WOW....it's up to $790...!!
This is an awesome gesture Thomas
Hi Ken,
I downloaded SU 2013 a couple of hours ago.
I have just found the whole toolbar episode an absolute nightmare....I had intended launching into a new project, and here I am a few hours later trying to assemble my toolbars the way I have always been accustomed to, and without any success.
Time is too precious and expensive to be consumed with things that should be trivial and work properly.....maybe I should bill Trimble for the time I am wasting.
OK, so I am now searching the Forum for a simple, uncomplicated solution to the problem......and wasting more time....!!
My job is to design, not stuff around trying to make a piece of software work...!!
I apologise in advance if there is a solution staring me straight in the face that I have missed....but if that is the case, it is because it is borne out of shear frustration...!
Tom Cruise had to marry an Australian to become famous....
....oh, hang on, it was the other way around wasn't it...??!!

Ah good, another chance for me to demonstrate my ignorance.
Could somebody please explain a little what you guys are talking about?
boy, am i glad you asked the question....!!
it's nice to see a bottle of our South Australian wine reach Belgium....!!
....but we do a lot better than Jacob's Creek.....not that it's a bad drop....but there are some very nice wines wines around here...!!
