Urgen: i thank you for sharing these amazing (and very clever) models, going through them one can see how valuable these are, i feel like i should pay you you should work for formfonts, the style of their recent stuff is almost identical, with the mapping of real world textures... wow, truely thank you and anxiously awaiting more (although you've already provided more than enough).

i was thinking about this the other day, would be handy to have an align tool, like align to green or red or blue axis (XYZ) Vectorworks has this with a even distribution option (spacing)

hi watkins thanx for the quick reply, i tried to tool, wasnt entirly what i wanted (but thanx) in the end i need that construction point to be placed at the top of that line, i need to be able to quickly select construction points and place them at the given height (spot heights)... any thoughts?

hi didier is there any way i could get this betta too, we are getting alot more request to build meshes from point heights and it would be quite a time saver if i could add this z value in Sketchup

and to make things worse i just niticed u cant set a short key to the tool
or the one from the projections tool set

hey Cad Dad, i have another qualm, in CD DRAWTOOLS with the "set construction point" tool shouldnt i be able to place a whole bunch of consecutive construction points without having to click the button again??? like the line tool where u just draw u dont have to click the line button after every segment?

no but i really should, seems like a handy tool, when ever some one has a problem tig pops up and suggest they try grow ...

hi cad father, i love these toolbars everything u need!!!!

however that stair ruby in the archiland toolbar, always messes up the spiral stair, probably reading the beginning and end of the arch backwards or something??? in the skin rubie its asks you if the join is right then flips the normals on one profile if it wasnt, anyway you could implement that on the spiral stair rubie (or whoever coded it)???????

would really appreciate it, its so annoying building these stairs line by line when there is a tool to do it sitting right here on my screen

this would be good for making proxy objects (when vray decides to implement proxies )

while on the subject of helping out vray, vray SR1 creates vray materials of all materials in the scene even the materials on lines (multi-coloured from CAD imports) could there also be a script to remove all materials from lines? that way vray wouldnt create any unnecessary materials

why doesnt this work for projections?

Cphillips: as amazing useful as this script is (carzy that sketchup doesnt have this built in) did you manage to work on it a bit? it puts a masave hault on production to have to delete faces and close them (sometimes that doesnt work and and i have to keep deleting face faces and closing to figure out which is the problem face)

hi, long ago i remeber there was a ruby that u could get the scene tabs (camera location) from one sketchup to another, cant remember its name could anyone point me in the right dirrection?

we all know the accrobatics we can do with groups or components or apple pie when its inside a component in the first place, or that we can make one of those groups a singular (all those similar groups will not become components of the same instance), my request was for a way to make similar groups into separate components of the same instance...

this has become one of my many favourite scripts, but i cant assign keyboard shortcuts to the individual commands, any way of fixing this?
