I am just not a mac user I have tried a few of fredo's plugins but nothing is working...

I have a friend (who I am trying to teach him sketch up) Who uses a Mac.
However he wants to add plugins (such as fredo6 curve tool) but doesent know how to add them for the mac. Is there anyway some one can instruct me so I can help him with this?

I am trying to find a texture to use on the rings any recomendations?
I am currently using podium (lite) until I see if its worth getting the full version.

I got one of the rings done (I am trying to fix it without restarting) however the others wont let me change the segments

On the way to a swim meet where my friend was swimming, I saw an interesting sculpture. I planned it out in my head and figured I could do it.

Took me about 20 Minutes (more for rendering and lighting setup)
