2017 Make
Under window preferences, I set file location for Components. When downloading Warehouse components, I choose not to install in model. I want to install into my component directory instead. Now, every time I want to do this, I must set up the path so it goes where I want it to go. How do I make the path the default?

I'm using SU Make 2017. Will using SU Free interfere with Make?

I must be in the Twilight Zone....ya, that's it.....

I'm not referring to the drawing axes. Attached is the drawing where you may see the "little" alignment symbols laying adjacent every grouped part in the model. They appeared first, when using the align tool. It's as if the align tool didn't turn off.

SU 2016, 32 bit.
Shortly after updating LibFredo 8.6h, Fredo Tools 3.2d & Bezier 2.0a, an odd dimension appeared on my model when using Round Corner Fredo Tools extension. Also, part of that Dim line just won't go away. See attached.

I was mistaken, It is the axis [?] tool. Still, the symbol won't go away.

After using the Align tool, the RGB symbol remains on the drawing screen. It does not appear on print-outs however, but it reappears when the file is opened later.

Every so often, about 2 weeks maybe, I'm alerted to update plugins that are not even available; Trimble Connect [pro only] & Advanced camera tools [pro only]. It's just a little annoying. The option to uninstall is given, but they are not installed.

Sandbox "From Scratch" allows you to create a grid in any direction.

There exists a drain pipe with a spillway that runs under the driveway. I'd like to show some type of modification to that.

I'm thinking about having my driveway redone and want to make a drawing to invite bids.The driveway and adjacent land has a constant slope of 1:12. Can I rotate the sandbox grid to align with the driveway, rather than pushing and pulling the grid to achieve the same end?

I found a simple way to rotate "text".
Use a dimension instead, then edit the dimension text. However, the dim lines may be a problem.

When the default tray is setup to include materials and materials are selected, two sets appear. The first set allows editing, the 2nd does not.
This is not a problem for me......I just wondered if this is normal for make 2017.

Is there any way to "protect" and limit access to a Sketchup project file?

I discovered, by accident, that dimensions can be rotated any number of degrees and their value is automatically recalculated.

A model created in a newer version cannot be opened with older versions. Is that correct?
The warehouse does not tell us what version the models are from. Can this be a problem?

A program loading Progress Bar such as found in Windows. No big deal.

Win 8.1, 64 bit, 2017 Make.
When Make first opens, a "flag" appears on the lower left of the screen stating that ONE extension needs updating, while letting the user to immediately open the extension manager.Now, I would expect that "one" extension to be flagged in some way to set it apart from all the others, but I don't see it. What am I missing?
