Hey guys, sorry for not getting back to this...hazards of an extremely busy career...
I was able to download and run this style just fine. ...but I downloaded it on a PC, so that may be the issue here.
I'll jump to the new thread...

This is the format of default styles in the styles library on a mac.
The sample file I downloaded is from the pro user forum, I don't see a way to upload a folder rather than just a file, but it is a folder with the style name, and inside are 4 files and a folder, files are document.xml, document properties.xml, references.xml, doc thumbnail .png and a ref. folder full of stroke pngs. Are those the way styles are saved on the windows side? I am surprised they are not cross platform.its a mystery.
The ref folder is usually used for Sketchy Edges. I'll download the style and take a look.

Edit: I'll have to take a look tomorrow morning...
Hi David, what you'll want to do is rename the folder with the ".style" prefix and try again.
Please let me know how that works for you!
Cheers,
Thanks guys! I did it just for fun...and for testing, but the curve of the blades ended up making it look pretty neat on some applications.
Ross, that blade digger looks cool!
Cheers,
Here's a Samurai Sketchy Style! More for fun than to really use in illustration, but here it is for you!

My friends -
Your efforts have been touching. Many people have become aware of the "Campaign to save CraigD" as it has become known here in the office. Thank you all very much!!! I am overwhelmed by your support.
I have no news as of yet, but things are looking hopeful, and people are working very hard here to convert me. I must be patient and let them do their work.
Tonight is the last official night of my contract. I want to thank you all for your support and companionship during the long hours over this past year, that we have all worked with this wonderful tool, SketchUp! SketchUp is the bond that unites us all together! It has been an honor to represent the team to you, and an absolute privilege to represent you all to the team. You are the best community a software development team could hope for!
This is not goodbye! I will be here, and hopefully I will be back as a representative of SketchUp and Google very shortly.
One request that I have is; if you wish to continue to create messages of support, please only do that here on the SketchUcation forum. I do not wish to inundate the folks here with emails, nor do I want to cause any ripples in the process now. My best hope is to be patient and keep my head down.
Thank you all!! I have much love, respect and admiration for each and every one of you!
You are my good friends.
Cheers,
- CraigD

Cheers,
Hi Kenny, I'm seeing the problem too. I'll look into it.
Thank you for supplying me with the model! We'll get right on this, and if we figure out some workarounds, I'll post a reply here.
Thanks,
Chris, and Kenny (and all) it's very important to include what version of SketchUp you're using.
We've made a few fixes in the latest version 6.0.1145 Mac and 6.0.1099 Windows so I'm interested to know if these crashes are occurring in the latest.
Please let me know.
Thanks,
P.S. Crojack, I race a '98 Honda RS125...she wins me races too!;)

Hi Kenny, we've fixed a crash with the drape tool in the latest maintenance release of SketchUp.
What platform and version of SketchUp are you using?
Thanks,
Hi Coen, these things happen. Proposal 2 sounds like the best course of action, but as I say when ordering food at a good restaurant, "Do as the Chef recommends".
Please let us know if there is anything we all can do to help you.
No worries, my friend.
We will try to find a solution. Any additional clues?
Do you have a second monitor? ...or use a larger monitor at times?
Do you resize the model window between sessions/often?
Do you use multiple model windows?
Do you have custom Ruby tools?
How do you launch SketchUp? ...double click a .skp, double click the program icon...etc.
Thanks for any additional info and for working on this with me!
Cheers,
- CraigD
Hi Mariocha,
I have not been able to reproduce the problem unfortunately. The only thing that I can think to do is reset your defaults by trashing your .plist.
If you want to do this let me know via PM and I'll help you out.
Cheers,
- CraigD

If anyone is interested in seeing what I've done just ask, I'll post some screeenshots when I get some time.
I'm interested! When you get a chance, I'd love to see some screenshots and learn more about your work.
