Why do I have the feeling that a lot of talented grown-ups are busy recreating their childhood cartoon favorites this weekend?
I've decided to 'caricature' some friends as practice/learning in Artisan. I'll post when I'm worthy.

Well done. But I'm so 'conditioned' now to expect great Solo work... I thought this was going to be an Artisan creation. Hah!
ThomThom,
I can't wait for this. Your plugins are well written and thought out. I have confidence in your efforts. I've been wanting this kind of capability for a long time. I think I may have said this once before: Quality plugins take time and effort, and creativity to develop. Reasonable fees for them are completely appropriate, IMHO.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks, TIG. And thanks for ALL of you incredible plugins.
Hi folks,
I'm not exactly a newbie, but I've never been sure which folder a new empty .skp is loaded from under the 'File... New' menu command. I'm using SU7 Pro on a Mac. Thanks in advance.
That's how I interpreted the instructions; so I put the license on an old USB stick; no problems.
Also, imported a .3DS from SU7 of a custom bed I built for a client. Opened fine in Messiah. Have to play more as time permits, nothing to show yet.
Just a head's up:
I received my email notice yesterday, Sunday. The download went well, Messiah is running on my iMac (OS 10.5.8). Just go slowly, read their instructions.
Various video tutorials here (can be downloaded):

Extensive online help here:

Looks like it could be fun... eventually.
The following statement is on their site at present:
**Due to the overwhelming response, we are in the process of updating the license system to better automate the management of everyone generating their licenses. We have a 3 day delay in finalizing the transactions, and downloading them into the system. We hope to have license generation up by Saturday or perhaps sooner. You will be getting an email to the email address you provided paypal when you purchased, that will contain the url and login info to generate your license for your purchase or purchases(if you did them in more than one transaction).
So nicely done. Perhaps you should write and illustrate a children's book.
Can't wait! Will there be an upgrade price for current owners of SDS1?
Just wanted to add my thanks to you, Fredo for your generosity and talent.
Beautifully done, Pete. It's great to see quality work. I'm still playing with Thea, and so far, I like it. You reminded me a while back that because it's a WIP, tutorials are not available yet. Do you know of any decent lessons or tips that may be out there currently?
Thanks.
The path on my iMac is: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 7/SketchUp/Plugins
No Google folder.
I purchased Vertex Tools, because it works, and I want to support the efforts of those of you who create quality plugins. It is, what makes SU a more powerful, useful product. I can't wait for Bezier Surface to become available. Fantastic, thanks in advance for your efforts!
Hi Folks,
I've experimented with a variety of rendering programs, and will probably be purchasing Thea Render. It best meets my needs, and produces results I like. I have the PDF manual that downloaded with the trial version. My question is, where might I find tutorials that could streamline the learning process?
Thank you in advance; and as always, thanks to all the generous, creative, plugin creators.
Kristoff, you said it well. My sincere thanks for all the remarkable work, and generosity.
Thank you TIG for your continuing wonderful contributions.
