      Hi everyone,
I´ve been planning on making some kind of 3D diorama (actually I´ve been into scale modeling and scratchbuilding since I was a boy and the principles look very similar, except that I don't have to wait for the glue to dry 😄 )
Anyway, It started with a 3D model of a 88 mm Flak, based on the exhibits at the military museum of Montjuic in Barcelona and Naval Museum of the nation in the town of Tigre, Argentina.
I am making very slow progress, but I thought I could share this with you, hoping for some feedback/advice.
I´d like to thank James Tainton from planetArmor for providing extensive image database.
Here are some test renders. Thanks for watching.

I don't think the slow progress is a bad thing if this is the result. That is absolutely stunning. You might show some SU output if possible?

            Great stuff!

I was kinda reluctant to post it having in mind all those "WIP" issues 😄

Looks great. I salute you for your attention to detail and your perseverance.
                                Now that's a big gun.
You probably have already analyzed it for unwanted internal faces. If not, removing these can knock some pounds off that file.

EDIT add comment: Even the chains show your level of attention.

cranked this out in a couple of hours, eh?

I´m not really sure if all those bolts, screws and nuts were necessary, but since they´re already there, I´ll try to reduce the segment count.

actually the 8.70Mb file size isnt alot because one of my models (King Tiger) takes 28.4Mb and its not even finished... but i'm waiting to see the fully finished model! 😄
