Yeah but if you look at his image... He is exporting an animation. I know multicore implementation on modeling is difficult but jpeg and animation export? Come on!

    • RE: A question that never gets asked in the western media?

The international club is made up of mainly established powers. Upstarts don't get a lookin. This is the same kind of politics that many people would have experienced in their school playground. Probably human nature my friend.

      Peace.

p.s. of all the country Iran should know fairness is what you can get away with while you are in power. For example the recent Iranian election.

This is got to be one of the coolest plugins. It reminds of control curves on grasshopper. speaking of which i wonder when someone will make grasshopper for SU. I can always dream can't I.

      Hi All,

Does anybody know anything about http://www.sketchupbar.com ... ๐Ÿ˜•

Although the site is in Chinese, it looks as if they're distributing commercial ruby plug-ins and other useful stuff... ๐Ÿ˜ก

I'm not able to read anything on that web-site, but as you will see on this site, they have modified the Twilight Render plug-in and made unauthorized translations to the dialogs... ๐Ÿ˜ก
This is - of course - illegal...!!

Does anybody have any experience with the persons behind this web-site...?? ๐Ÿ˜•

      Hope you are satisfied.

    • RE: [Plugin] Sculpt Tools (help)

What method do people use to create the initial grid? Is there a Ruby that can do it? I know Subdivide and smooth does it however in this case the surface only need to be divided into squares not triangles.

It's way back at post #8 on page 1, but here ya go:

      E8400 Core Duo
      EVGA 9800GTX+ x 2 in SLi
      4 GB OCZ RAM
      EVGA 780i FTW
      WinXP SP3

      Nothing overclocked.

Hmmm. I didn't realise SU can take advantage of SLi setup. I read that it doesn't even scale linearly in most games. Apparently it does scale with SU. Otherwise GTX 280 from Solo's setup would have achieved higher score.

I am out of a job too but luckily going back to uni in September. Right I am taking the opportunity to learn Rhino and Grasshopper. Maybe you could take a course in something you've always wanted to learn? Just a suggestion.
