RE: A more traditional look!
Karl,
I always hate commenting on something I'm not even close to being able to do myself, but what I've seen in your render, and others, is the use of a real sky mixed in with the other non-photo real elements. Any way to make the sky detail consistent with the rest of the render? Thoughts?
Anyway, I think it looks great otherwise.

RE: [Plugin][Code]SKMtools,Material/ImageTools
TIG,
Thank you for your generosity.
What am I doing wrong? I imported a .png and implement image trimmer, but I don't see anything different about it once the process is completed.

RE: [Plugin] WireTool (Catenary) (1.4.1) β updated 06.03.2013
Never mind, I figured it out. You have to press Enter after entering the distance, etc.

RE: [Plugin] WireTool (Catenary) (1.4.1) β updated 06.03.2013
I cannot get the plugin to work with specific inputs. It creates a the same curve no matter what I enter.
Can you help?

RE: NPR Baguio House
Alan,
First of all, they are indeed very nice images.

Having said that, I have some questions/comments in general regarding NPR styles, such as these, so please don't mistake them as being a critique unique to your images, just questions for those who do them.
- I've been playing around with trying to learn NPR styles, but I never know what to do with straight lines, such as in your images, when trying to produce watercolor similarities. You would never see such straight linework in true watercolors.
2)I've noticed in several "NPR" or "watercolor' type styles, that a reflection is shown on materials that realistically would not be that way. What is the reason for doing so?
Just trying to learn. Thanks.

RE: Finding an Elevation on Google Maps.
Although it displays in thousands of feet, don't use for any exact elevations. I tried it on my property and it indicated an area that is supposed to be lower, as higher.

RE: How Not To Build A Shed.
I couldn't even build that in SU. I wouldn't know where to start. Maybe a good candidate for photo match.
I really think you should help your landlord

RE: RaySupreme - Text-to-3D!
Text-to-Speech. Interesting, but I'm not sure how a feature such as this would be beneficial.
Thanks for the tip.

Extension/Plugins repository/manager, fixing toolbar issues and Layout improvements has been very high up there on the list of requested features among users.
Regarding toolbars, it only allows the toolbars to be one column in width when docked. When the toolbar is not docked, you can drag the edges to configure each toolbar to more than one column, but when you go back to dock it, it reverts to one column. SU8 keeps the configuration you originally set up.

RE: Free Residential Windows and Doors
Gus, thank you for your generosity. Even though I don't have a need at the moment, it is nice of you to share your efforts, as are all the other individual forum members who frequently share components and plug-ins.
Thank you all again.

RE: 800+ plugins now = 1 click ;)
Looks awesome. At least on my monitor, the darker shading for each alternating plugin is barely noticeable and makes identifying which button on the right side goes with which plugin. Can there be more contrast?

RE: Detroit Office Building and Hotel
Nice work.
If you have a chance for a second presentation, the shadows in the site plan go in opposite directions, between the aerial photo and the SU model.
