@baz, I'll post what I found if PG says I can.

Cool. Can't remember how and when I had this issue, on a deadline, of course.
But I expect I solved it by kicking the dog and starting again 😞
      Bad methodology, I'm sure.

BTW Dave, just about to buy a new/old boat. V. exciting. Starlight 30, built 1980.

    • RE: Advanced, Intermediate or the other one?

So... looking at the posts here and Cotty's thread, it seems that some of us wouldn't mind extended ranking options.
As said before I like this...

      Beginner
      Novice
      Intermediate
      Advanced
      Expert

We don't need, or are asking for, a pissing match about who is the 'best'.
And as Box says, who could be the best at all the aspects of the Su/Layout/Plugins/Communication interface?
A guru perhaps? But let us not go there just now:)

I actually find that rather offensive, both Cotty and I and Solo have been involved in and even started threads about this very subject.
For exactly the reason you now call sandbagging.

How do you choose what you should be from the three options,
Ok I'm Not a beginner, but I'm also not advanced as I barely use layout, can't write a plugin and have limited experience with only one render engine.
This leaves me with only one option, Intermediate.

Chill...Box, it was a compliment, albeit tongue in cheek, but one I agree with. You guys have proved many times how fluent you are, (in your own ways), with Su.

The Shadows toolbar no longer has the "turn off sun" icon.
I originally posted this in the General Discussion forum but received no reply. For details and pictures of what my problem is please see:

      Thank you

Totally off topic Bob but just saw your puter specs. Wow! And 4 x 27" monitors!
Any chance of a pic of that setup?

One of the great weaknesses of sketch up is. That one can easily fool himself into thinking he has mastered it.

I just downloaded and began to use SU2015. I cannot make a circle or other polygon. I did just what I did in earlier versions, but when I click to change the diameter, it disappears. Is there a setting I need to change?

      Check your model units?

    • RE: Can't impose grid using flowify

Hi, there was something messed up in your curved geometry and Flowify didnt like where you had put your connectors.
Here it is fixed quickly...I would reduce the segments on the rim though, thats a lot of faces 😲

PS; In future you might add a screen shot of the problem. In this case a fix would probably been suggested without having to open the Skp.
Also it would be useful if you completed your profile.
