    • SP ICBM project

      Hi again.

      I am currently working on my latest project- a sketchyphysics ICBM. I am not releasing it on 3DWH, but it will be released here in stages. Rather amateur-ish (as far as meshes are concerned, i am a n00b), but will be improved later on. (Hopefully!) Includes:

      Crash damage
      [primitive] Flame effect
      Destroyable (disappearing) second stage

      Anyway, some screenies:

      Liftoff!
      Levelling off
      Engine cutoff.
      Boooooooom!
      What happens when you only tap the launch key.

      TODOS:

      Explosions
      Smoke when the rocket is damaged
      Bomb explosions
      Sounds
      New mesh
      Better second stage damage (With the split scripted field command in the 2nd stage, it lagged too much, so I used the destroy function)
      Better launchpad.
      Guidance/targeting.(Looks grim, I might need help for this part)

      Crappy at the moment, hope to make a new mesh.

      UPDATE:
      Added a new mesh and nose top (a space capsule!).

      The new mesh with the new capsule attachment.

      NOTE: The capsule doesn't have the crash debris function as the warhead does. (It is a MANNED capsule, after all)

    • Sp Wiki=Out of date/abandoned?

      Hi.

      I was browsing the Sketchyphysics wiki, and I noticed that the info there is SEVERELY out of date. There was NO mention of SP 3.1/3.2 or new features. Is anyone willing to update or is the wiki being closed and/or ported? I think it is abandoned.

    • Joints not connecting on groups when part of components

      Just a little SP annoyance: When trying to attach a gun to a plane whose wings are a component, the gun doesn't attach. Could an expert help? This problem is rather annoying, as i can't get the gun to stick. πŸ‘Ώ

    • Clipping plane, large aeroplane, and skechyphysics issues

      Well I am using a FPS game based on Wacov's FPS rig. I want to add a large lookAt plane, but without warning, all of a sudden, there is this worrying large clipping plane! I want someone to help me to be able to get rid of it.

      PS: It only happens when the lookAt in the plane sets off. 😞

      It tracks an object, not follows it. I need the object to always be followed from overhead and the code to be ontick compatible, not scripted compatible.

      UPDATE: I HAVE DOWNLOADED SP3.1.

      This model always crashes SU8. If it doesn't crash your SU8 could you let me know.

      It doesn't crash my system. I am now using SU8 but it works fine. Maybe you should try a virus scan.
