      Another thing to do would be also interesting can recursively set all groups and components to "scale definition."

      I set keyboard shortcuts for all the plugins I use.

      Since this script takes a long time to complete their tasks in some files, I get confused sometimes I use the shortcuts, and inadvertently I press the shortcut for this plugin. You could insert an option to be given a warning to accept or not if we want to do cleaning?

      Another interesting option is the possibility of inserting a percentage level where materials are not identical, but similar would be united into one.

      It's possible to rename all the materials in words capitalized?
      If we could make a clean sweep in the names would also help.

      This can be a problem. But not exactly in this situation.

      The problem seems to be that we can not have a large and deep hierarchy of objects in outliner.

      Try the shared model and see how the model is organized in outliner.

      This tool you did are really interesting. But I was wrong about the reason why I ask for this plugin. The problem was that when I render a scene in V-ray, everything was dark. I rendering from far away and I see that I had a huge object involving the whole scene. I thought it was a hidden object that this tool could make me find out. But this was not the problem. The problem, as I discovered later, was on "scale definition."
      The plugin for V-ray for some reason did not translate correctly the object as I seen in the scene, but according to the scale of the original object.
      Your plugin could also automatically define all the objects as "scale definition" as we see in the scene???

      I tested this script in the the scene I'm working on, and could not see any results, because the scene I'm working on is very large and took too long time, so I had to kill the sketchup. Another thing I think will be great is the possibility of being able to choose what kind of object it takes from the "hidden world" and brings to our reality.

    • Never more kill Sketchup. That's my desire.

      Plugins should have some kind of possibility to cancel its activities, because sometimes they take too long time to finish his task, and we have no time to wait for their tasks be completed. Or maybe they can provide some warning on how long time it will take their job. It is very sad to have to kill sketchup and lose precious work.

    • [REQ] time machine for layers

      It would be possible to create a plugin that freeze layers of components, and materials and groups in the hidden layers, making "Make Unique" in each component, something like time machine for layers? All this with just a few keyboard shortcuts?

      That would be interesting when we are modeling organic stuff and want to keep a history of these objects as backup. Or wanting to keep several lines of possibility models of architecture.

      It is also interesting when we do a lot of modifications that alter an object "A", but then we do other profound changes in other objects "B", "C", or "D", for example, and then we change your mind about the object "A". We want object A back as it was before changing objects "B", "C", "D". However, if we press keys Control Z, we will lose changes to objects "B", "C" and "D".

      Can you understand me?

      It would be possible to create a plugin that would take all the groups, components, faces and edges to hide? Because sometimes some components are hidden inside other that are not hide.

      And to discover the secret hiding place takes a long time.

      I was wondering if it would be possible to change this plugin to control the automatic start of any other plugins such as the 1001 bit tools, or some other little tools that we don't use often. That would make the start Sketchup faster. So by default, would start with the Sketchup few essential plugins.

      Please note the presentation that I have made in the attached file. That's exactly what I need. In some cases, I do not use handles in aluminum bar. I use ordinary handles. So I do not pull over 3cm from top face to bottom. In some cases, I use different spaces for 0.5cm, as requested by the woodworker or architect that I work. Thank you for your attention.
