Look at what Equadorian did rather quickly along these lines using some free scripts available here on the forum. http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=180&t=16484 Its half way down that page. The general idea is he made a grid, then randomly subdivided some of it using Jim protrude script. Then randomly applied colors to it, replaced the colors with images. THen ran greeble on it. and voi-la! his city. Its pretty impressive, especially for free scripts. And yes, making a more in depth city generator is a dream of mine that I'm slowly working on. Chris

@bigstick said: The latest version of Podium supports soft (diffused) shadows, unlike earlier versions. There is no way to change the sunlight implementation, but if you want the shadows even softer, you might be able to position some transparent geometry in front of the sun. I haven't ried it, so I'm not sure if it will work. Might be worth a try though. Thank you very much. It works. I also found a solution using a lot of omnilights (500) in the direction of sun but needs 28 min to render and not only 5 min. Arspi, Greece

Certainly better texturing, using bumps and clipmaps, better camera and more context. I personally would rather use sky or more realistic background colour.

I would appreciate the same for interior scene also...THNX MARKO You change the sun size from the Sky map in the GI Environment setting.
