This week-end I went on the normandish coast at Saint Malo.
I saw a boat of Bill Gates : 71m long, 13.50m wide, about 30 bedrooms... Nice boat.
Surprise, the boat is registered in the Caiman island; very funny for a person who tracks people who copy Windows or Word without paying duties. Himself is not paying US taxes...!!!

Yesterday on the old forum there was still emotion there.
Waiting for 3.0,4.0 or 5.0 , we could hear the su team breathe.
I found there so many people with similar needs and thinking way.

I made a personnal style with long soft lines, which is very near straight lines but with a light diffeent touch, if you like I send it to you.
I have seen one made with jagged lines, very sketchy and interesting .

It is simply impossible to do it without any base; you can only guess through the back building, that you are under it with your point of view
In your case what I could say is that it is not so important to have a precise point.
The realism of your building will come more from the visual fusion of your model in the background, with added plants...
If you can identify the slope of top wall of the back building you will have one hint

This is the message I get when I want to save on a specific folder.
Everything was going all right for monthes till I find myself not able to save on that folder.
On a Vista laptop I created a partition (k:) where I put all my datas; since last week SU refuse to save on that folder, but accept all sub-folders of it. The properties of the folder are valid and comparable to all the sub-folders.
I suspect Vista and its octopus security system , but I cannot find a solution.
A help would be very much welcomed.

I did not wanted to upgrade, closed the access of SU to internet with the firewall, and it stopped asking.
Craig, most SU moves seems to act oppositly to your friendly speech.

When using the text tool you get the area, but it comes with "centimeters2" or "meters2" depending on your setting-units board.
Is it possible to set meters2 to m2.. ?
It would be nice too to be able to set the units independently from the main unit setting, that would means working in cm, and set the area/text tool in m2.
Maybe it is possible to do it now but I do not find it

I have still the bug display that I noticed already.
When working with a 2d drawing, and when zooming inside the drawing the display shows lots of "waves" like on the attached file.
It is very annoying, because it is sometimes black and becomes difficult to work with
If you want to re-create the bug, draw in 2 dimensions with large color areas, then zoom in the drawing in order to display half out, and half in the screen.

It was my first ruby script use.
The functions have the same name but act very differently, and the way the lay-out behaves is far more intersting.
My main use is draw doors in my 2d use of SU, and excuse me if I
maintain my wish of having LO arc functions in SU.
