Well here are the some photos from the drawing in sketchup and some photos from the TV stand and how it turned out.

I note that you have posted in the VRay subforum. I do not have any experience in VRay. Perhaps a moderator would want to relocate this to the appropriate subforum?

Thank you very much for the explanation! and the link too!

Yeah I noticed I placed this in the wrong section..doh

Thanks Bryan! It really helped a lot! Can you tell me what options or procedure you did in Photoshop?

It's actually a stand I made for my dad so he could see how the setup for his tv and surround would be.

Me? Well, uh, thanks, but it was urgen. πŸ˜„

Ohh shoot yeah my bad ^^

      Thanks Urgen!

Well joking aside; nicely made one (maybe the chair leg is a bit blunt). What renderer was it?

Hehe you're right the tv needs a more cosy furniture..

The chairs leg got pretty blunt yes..hmm...I used Vray to render this model.

Are you using the latest version? 1.49.01?

      Pretty sure I am...

I have no trouble with rendering another project but this one won't work..so I am guessing that it's errors in this file?

      Hello,

seeing your two renders, i think you are trying to render an axonometrical scene and VRay can render only perspective scenes. Put your SU scene in perspective mode and try a new VRay render ! πŸ˜‰

      Good luck !

Oh yeah you were right, I changed the camera to perspective and it helped! Thank you very much, kind sir.

So I just started this project and I think I am doing quite well...BUT when I try to render it's like the camera zoomed 800x away from the actual rendering point..

I don't know what caused this problem but I hope someone can help me

      Anyone?

Well, at this stage (and seeing your question/problem), you probably did not post it to show off in the Gallery.

I don't know if you discovered but we have a V-ray subforum under the Extensions forum...
If you wish, I can move the topic there.

Oh, sorry I didn't knew there was a subforum about this.
Yes I would appreciate if you'd move this topic.

      Thank you sir.

      Cheers

      Hi guys
I am new here at SketchUcation and I am also realatively new at using SketchUp and Vray..
I think the colours of my rendering is quite off and I can't seem to get it right, it is too shiny and doesn't look real at all.
Btw the gap between the roof and the big wall is on purpose.

Anyway here is some examples of my latest work.
