    • RE: Vray Displacement Problem

Yay, this worked. Thank you I subdivided the surface and changed edge lenght to 2 and subdivision to 800. No weird edges πŸ˜„

    • Vray Displacement Problem

      Hi

I'm having a problem with displacement in vray. When I want to render a close up displacement surface I get blurry, irregular edges. But if I zoom out and take render it's hard to notice them. You can see the images below. Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? VfSU 1.49.01 & SU 8

    • RE: Vray Specular Reflection Glossiness

Problem solved. I added specular to filter slot and it worked. I used to put specular in slot that below reflection glossiness and specular worked there. So I thought this must be specular slot but I was wrong. I did more search on google. Find out that I can put specular in filter slot and then I tried glossiness. It worked fine.

Yes, I did apply fresnel. Specular works but I couldn't make both specular and glossiness work together.

    • Vray Specular Reflection Glossiness

      Hi.

I want to create a reflective material with glossiness. I don't want it to reflect like a mirror and I also use specular map. Even I tried few times I couldn't make it work. So can anyone help me about this? If I don't use specular map glossiness works fine but when I add the specular it doesn't work. The textures I used for diffuse and specular are below. Also I'm using VfSU 1.49.01

      Diffuse map
      Specular map
      Specular
      Just glossiness
      Specular with glossiness[didn't work]

LumenRT looks pretty good. But I couldn't figure out from the videos if it records camera movements or just moving around. Hoping it lets moving around freely. Also it'd be good if it supports bumps,disp...

I didn't know LightUp could do that. That sure works. Thanks.

    • Walkthrough in rendered model?

      Hi masters

I've been wondering is there a software that lets you walkthrough in a rendered model? Like game engines do. Since game engines don't render realistic I can't use them. I also want to save the rendered model so I don't have to render it everytime I want to move around. Can anyone enlight me about this?
