Sketchup does not import hatch. Only boundaries if they are drawn with lines and no matter what lines.

Actually now I'm using different method. Rendering with alpha channel and then use it with photoshop.

Good work. Actually I have some experience with SU animation now and I can tell that SU is good for very simple animations but not for large scenes.

Btw that fog effect You are using is really cool.

Try Wood Workshop. It's free and You can create texture You need.

Brodie. Add more than one BSDF to material. Put some dirt maps in other BSDF and just play with weight and scale that's all. As simple as taking photo

I'm using 8800 GT with latest drivers and it works fine to me. Actually never had problems with su just with games.

Google can fix that stupid bug when zooming in very close to object.
Better dwg export. Offten lines are missing and some unneeded lines are showing up.

And one more thing: when a plane is created and under this plane you place some object (really close but not connected to plane) then when zooming out that object beyond that plane shows up.

Later I will add some screenshot to better understand about what I'm talking.

Thist ugly bug was presented in SU6 and still presenting in SU7 like all other bugs!

First and only thing. Be organized as much as you can. Groups layers colours etc. everything must be organized especially if You work on large models.
