**I'm just wondering if anyone knows who runs the old 3D Warehouse and if there is anyone who we could "speak to" about a missing model ?
A popular model of mine that is still visible in Google Earth, was utilized by a game company to help populate their game with realistic buildings. I have no problem with this usage and they made some revisions but it's very easy to tell that it's my model originally. However, ever since that game company uploaded my building to their game, the Model was completely removed from the 3DWH. That is, it's GONE and I have no control over it. I'd like to try to speak to someone to figure out what happened and to learn if I can get it back in my list of approved/existing Google Earth Models.
I realize this isn't the forum for the 3DWH. In fact, I have no idea if there even is one any more. All I know is that I have had zero luck contacting ANYONE about this matter. I can only hope someone in SketchUcation might know who I can contact and how I can contact them ?

Thank you.
I WILL check that out.
The price is right if it'll do what I need it to do.
I'll try out the Free Trial.
Thanks for the tip.
**Hi Everyone
It has been a long time since I was in this forum and even longer since I used Layout effectively. I now have SU Pro 2015 with Layout 2015. I am trying (without success) to create a useable Fill Pattern that represents Batten Insulation for my Plan and Section Views.
Can someone please instruct me how to best create such a texture ? I have a low grade image and I can't even make it from that.
Alternately, I'd gladly PAY for this and other useful Architectural/Construction Doc FILL PATTERNS.**
It has been a while since I have been in the SketchUcation Website.
As of today, I "finally" installed the SketchUp Plugin Store Extension.
I didn't know I needed it or that it would be as useful as it really is. In fact, it appears "really" useful and a real time-saver.
So I did download and install it in my SU 8 Pro.
Now I have 2 Important Questions (to which I was unable to find answers in this Forum).
QUESTION #1 (with a couple related sub-questions).
I am wondering if this feature can also be installed in SU v7 Pro ?
And if so, are there any differences (i.e. is it the same version of plugin/extension) ?
And if so, does it determine which plugins/extensions are suitable for that specific version of SketchUp ?
Finally, while browsing through my plugins, using the SketchUcation Plugins Manager, I noticed that notes regarding each installed plugin where visible at the bottom of the Manager Window which are specific to each plugin (such as who created the plugin etc).
I noticed that it said that the "sketchup.rb" plugin "should be removed from the Plugins Folder" to prevent some issues.
So I did that too.
QUESTION #2
Should the same file (sketchup.rb) also be removed from SU v7's Plugin Folder as well ?
Thanks in Advance for any help to these questions.
I appreciate any and all help with these matters ... before I go and do something with either version of SU that I might later regret !!

Hi Everyone.
I have read many (but certainly not all) of the posts in this Thread but I still don't know what to conclude about SU and 64 bit processors.
I am building a new PC this weekend and have ordered Win 7 Home 64 bit but didn't realize that there "might" be issues with SU and 64 bit.
Are there serious issues I need to be aware of ?
Has Google or Trimble produced a Patch or anything that will allow me to use SU with my new system ?
What do I need to know ?
Is there a particular/specific Setup that I need (like running in Vista or XP Mode) ?
I'd appreciate any help with this issue BEFORE I run into any problems .... as I'm sure I'll have enough issues getting the new system up and running and other program installations.
Respectfully,
Chris aka SnowTiger
BTW - WOW ... this is an EXCELLENT Plugin.
I wish I had known about this a long time ago but better late than never.
This plugin will save me (and others) a HUGE amount of time.
I have hundreds of hi-res repeating photo textures that would take hours or even days to import and save one-by-one.
With this Plugin/Ruby, I was able to save many in just a few clicks.
It's going to get lots of use over the next day or two ... any for hereinafter.
**While I am experienced with SU, I am new to LO.
The fact is, I am having great difficulty with it overall but I hope with practice I will find it to be much easier to use. At this point, I only wish there was more control over viewing Modes and Styles and Layers in LO as there is in SU, but independent from SU.
Anyway, I am currently working on Construction Docs for a project that MUST be completed today. Unfortunately, I have No Idea how to Texture Elevations etc with things like Steel Siding, Masonry Block, Concrete etc.
Are there any textures that can be painted in LO ? OR does anyone have any B&W Line Textures for using SU that will show in LO ?
I cannot import Color Images/Views because they require too much Ink, even when printed as B&W.
SO I'm curious what others do for typical/conventional looking plans, elevations and details as far as Line Textures go ?
Anyone got anything like that and/or Section Details etc to share ?
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Everyone. This is SnowTiger ... although I have had to re-register because this site no longer recognizes that Username for some unknown reason(unfortunately). I had a heck of a time registering because I kept getting a message saying my user name or email were already registered. Ya... I know.. but the Login wouldn't let me in OR wasn't recognized to resend username/password info. SO, I am now seen as "3D Modeler".
I love this site because it has a ton of excellent information and resources. The most important resource is the many skilled and talented SketchUp users that frequent this site.
Anyway, I'm glad to be back, regardless who I'm listed as. However, I'd gladly delete this registration if my original registration could be figured out !!
