Pinching myself

I am a ex firefighter and have had some issues with a chemical called PFAS which has amongst other things has cause 3 cancers 1 stroke and 2 x heart attacks which means I could not work for about 5 years which decimated my saving, and is one reason I have not kept up with SU and TM.
Things have turned around in a big way I just had a very large payout from the Government. The housing situation is out of control in this Country and out of reach for many even trying to get a place it is just unaffordable. Being a veteran I have just secured an Apartment in South Perth in a leafy street close to the Swan river.
It is a very high end suburb in one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. I will be paying about $280Australian dollars for an apartment worth 1 million dollars and the rent also includes utilities and is appointed with full furnishings. I am pinching myself ATM. It is a 2 bedroom apartment so I can set up am office in one of the rooms as an office to start with SU and TM. I am now retired will be volunteering for work at the Aviation Museum

Indeed I was. Specialised in Sheet Metal, Welding and Composites. Ended up as a Technical Trainer before redundancy happened.
I'd love to poke around those planes in the pic. Especially the Lancaster Bomber! Would love to squeeze into the front gunner spot.

Best news for a very long while and as ^, bloody well earned. Yep hoping you are around for a good few to benefit from a just return. Aviation museum volunteer, about perfect for you, hope you enjoy every minute.
I heard one of the Oz museums was working to return a Lancaster to flight status, not the same place is it?
One of the Canuck museums is building a replica Arrow for flight and it seems even the replica will be supersonic/very capable in and of itself. Even if lots of it are wood.
