@Rich-O-Brien Thanks Rich, I am hoping that I can do some modelling for the Aviation museum. They even have a genuine spitfire. If memory serve me well you were an Aviation Engineer

Indeed I was. Specialised in Sheet Metal, Welding and Composites. Ended up as a Technical Trainer before redundancy happened.

I'd love to poke around those planes in the pic. Especially the Lancaster Bomber! Would love to squeeze into the front gunner spot.

Best news for a very long while and as ^, bloody well earned. Yep hoping you are around for a good few to benefit from a just return. Aviation museum volunteer, about perfect for you, hope you enjoy every minute.

I heard one of the Oz museums was working to return a Lancaster to flight status, not the same place is it?

One of the Canuck museums is building a replica Arrow for flight and it seems even the replica will be supersonic/very capable in and of itself. Even if lots of it are wood.

          Last thing, "About bloody time".

hi Mike the rent is per week. It is definitely not a palace it is a 2 bedroom mid century modern that was gutted and renovated 18 months ago. When I mentioned it as around a million in value that is because it is in an exclusive area of South Perth and a 5 min ferry ride the one of the most beautiful modern cities on the planet. I do not have any pics ATM as I am 400 kms away but heading there in a few days. I have attached a video of where I will be living it is a 7 min walk from my place to the Zoo.

Looks Perfect, reading this again I misread the rent by a factor of ten which is why I thought pcm.

If that was a bit more temperate, it would be ideal for this Viking.

All that AND an aviation museum. Cracking.

Even gets weirder. when I went to Perth to sign the lease it had heaps of consumables like dishwater blocks, table Laundry liquid toilet paper for about 3 months and enough food i the pantry for a couple of weeks. Oh and the aviation museum has a professional flight simulatorπŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘

When I moved in here, the ?management? company had even ripped the toilet roll holder off the wall in the bathroom. Broken asbestos tiles on the floor and asbestos dust in the air (June 2016, hot).

Nice to know there are some out there who do a proper job.

Sorry to hear that Mike. I feel very lucky the apartment was supplied by
Gina Rinehart who is an Australian mining billionaire. She is amazing

Mate, you deserve it and falling on your feet is a proper result, at last.

She seems to be the real deal so power to her elbow etc. At least we have a roof each and that is a result more than many get.
