The current keyboard and mouse are going back, too many false input errors.

Can anyone suggest a brand that has done well, works for you?

I went through a logitec phase but am off them at th moment, they think two years out of a keyboard is all that can be expected for some reason.

Thanks folks, need to get another keyboard soon or just not use the updated pc.

I've had excellent service from my Logitech keyboards and mice. The only time I've had to replace the keyboard is when I've spilled something sugary into it. As far as mice, I've only had to replace them when I wear the feet off and they get too difficult to push around. The one on the left here is close to that point. I've never had any failures of the buttons or wheel.

Logitech for me as well. Currently using the Logitech Craft keyboard and a G Pro X superlight series mouse. Love them! Also rechargeable so no more batteries.

I've been using a Logitech K350 for years now. Still have a new one on backup. Mouse is Logitech Performance MX which I clean every so often. I still have a Logitech MX Master 3 in a box. Not too crazy about it but overall it's OK. I also have a Corsair K100 RGB Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard which is way to jittery and sensitive. Happiest with the K350 and Performance MX combo.

Biggest problem has been dropping liquids on the keyboard once a year. Have to be careful with that. I have gotten replacement feet for the Performance MX mouse if I've opened it up a lot to clean. Have to make sure I'm stocked. I still have a bunch of Allsop "Raindrop" x-large mouse pads which they discontinued. Drives me nuts when they discontinue the good stuff.

I may have just been lucky, but I have probably had 15 mouse and 7keybourds over many years The most expensive mouse was a gaming mouse for $160 and even a spacmouse. I will never pay top dollar for these any more. I just stay with a normal Logitech keyboard and mouse.

Edited. I did not check but mouse I am using ATM but I am using the expensive mouse shown in image I have had it for about 10 yearsMouse.png

I use Razer. Only lefthanded mouse with some side buttons for my needs. Just ordered a new one after 6yrs of abuse.

Prior to that I used a Logitech G9 series. That was wireless and it charged via a really nice cable that clicked in so no fear of disconnecting.

I like the Razer though. Fits my paw.

@Rich-O-Brien It seems that he has that enabled, for the topics he creates, by default in his settings.
I moved the topic from "Sketchup discussions" to "Corner bar" some time ago because it was not a SU related topic. Could that issue has something to do with that? I don't think so because, IMO, the watching option should be related to the author of the post and not to the section in which the tread is placed, but who knows...

The topic IS set to watching, currently only one alert that there is a response and that was in the last few minutes.

I only mentioned this with relation to Sketchup because, with the issues I have had over the last year or so leave me wondering if the pc or Sketchup are set to "Chalkboard" mode.......

@massimo Dunno, moving shouldn't affect it. We don't know his settings so the ball is in Mike's court on this.

I'll check the setting for this subforum just to be sure.
