Alfa Romeo tipo 33 Stradale 1967
-
A teaser to test surfaces and the headlights etc.
Modeling and correction got a bit tedious.
-
Looks like you are off to a good start.
-
Looks great. Which subdivide plugin are you using?
-
Ta folks, I tend to go between TT cleanup and artisan depening on the amount of complex curves. Cleanup for simpler stuff and artisan for body and seats etc. Usually work pretty well.
-
More tests with lights.
-
Looking good. Did you add thickness to the body or is that just around the edges?
-
Just rounded the edges around the perimete of each group.
-
Great work Mike, organic modelling is your forte

Thanks folks.
Looking to interior aspects while I go for more details.
There are yellow interior carpets here, the main is black and tufted (Not that you can see it yet) and the footwell carpets are yellow emblazened with Alfa Romeo.
Some part complete place holders are visible on the engine bay glass but this will be reduced when reflective elements like intake trumpets are added.
I badly guffed with the panel fit and will have to look into an add in fillet between body panel groups.

Mike this is looking stunning! cant wait to see her rendered in a nice garage setting or in a photo studio with soft lighting
-
Looking good, Mike. Need any tires?
-

Thanks mate, for the garage render, I am hoping to have representative gubbins. Engine, suspension and grearbox etc. Waiting for something from Alfa Heritage museum. Thanks to the guys at Stellantis heritage for that pointer.

This is astounding Mike... I have never been able to do such a thing using Sketchup! This is wonderful!
