Hi
What about when you export your entire bunch of custom shortcuts of this current file to something like "my own Preferences.dat" and then open a new file, load this "my own Preferences.dat" and save all this as your new template again? does this work for you then? -
Ctrl+P is a hard coded shortcut. It is coded in Windows, not SketchUp. The operating system will override all hard coded shortcuts. You cannot permanently reassign them to SketchUp functions. Pick another shortcut.

Thank you Dave for pointing on that

F1 is another similar hard coded key.
Another tip is to not use numpad keys as shortcuts unless they at use a modifier like CTRL/SHIFT/ALT.
You need those for VCB input.

On the Mac, it is command-key chords that are pre-assigned by the GUI and can't be used as SketchUp shortcuts.

k. thanks
