Time would do what you want.
Unfortunately it's no longer available.
I will PM you an alternative 'private' script... -

I will PM you an alternative 'private' script...Is this something that is available now as part of SketchUp? Or otherwise...
I have a need for the same to produce a shadow study. It would be great to have something accurate within SketchUp and actually linked to SU's shadow times - rather than adding a timer in After Effects which is what I have done, but this is a very cumbersome solution.

I'll PM you some alternative Ruby code...
-
I have been looking everywhere for an extension that would show the shadow time in an animation. I hate bugging TIG for a PM with private code. Is it available anywhere else?
-
What do you mean by shadow time?
- The amount of sun / shadow an area would receive?
or - The date & time on screen when viewing an area with sun/shadows enabled?

See yesterday's PM...

Hello, Can You send a code for me also?
-
TIG, could you please share your time script? I am new here so I cannot send PMs!
Thanks
Kim

Will you all check your PMs for an attachment...
-
Thank you TIG!
-
Tig,
Do you still have this alternate code, or in the last few years are you aware of a newer method? -
Look at your PMs...

Hello TIG
would you be so kind and would also send me the script?
Thanks
Alexander

Could You share a code with me too?

Hello TIG,
you are my last hope to get my problem done. I need to have a time stamp on my exported video that shows day and time of the current shadow. I tried some ruby code but that does not work on exported animated videos.
Thank you very much in advance!
