Sun/shadow study animation export -> time????

There was a plugin made some years ago that would display the time and date on screen. I used it in a shadow study animation I did for a client back then. I'll have to hunt for it because I don't remember where I got it or the name of it.

If I recall correctly this is "time" available from Smustard.

thanks guys, unfortunately i cant find anything over at smustard but a animated clock but this does not help.. i dont need the actual time but the time of the animation... that is day and daytime of sun...

Is this something that is available now as part of SketchUp? Or otherwise...

I have a need for the same to produce a shadow study. It would be great to have something accurate within SketchUp and actually linked to SU's shadow times - rather than adding a timer in After Effects which is what I have done, but this is a very cumbersome solution.

I have been looking everywhere for an extension that would show the shadow time in an animation. I hate bugging TIG for a PM with private code. Is it available anywhere else?

What do you mean by shadow time?

• The amount of sun / shadow an area would receive?
  or
• The date & time on screen when viewing an area with sun/shadows enabled?
