[Plugin] Colr Explorer

Jim,
Excellent plugin, very intuitive to use and well integrated with the Paint bucket palette. You also found a good source of color schemes.

Excellent Plugin.
Tour de force with a deceptively 'simple webdialog' -
Thanks a lot Jim, very usefull as usual...

Brilliant, thanks for this.

Wow, thanks for the comments! I think it's fun to use, and is hopefully useful too.
I added a new version (dated today) to the download page. It has the color scheme support from the colr.org site available as a tab. I also changed the layout a little to accommodate schemes, and make room for more actions.

Thank you Jim. This could be very useful.
The Colr folks don't have a wood grain section do they?

Thank.

No, but I've been thinking about something similar. The colourlovers.com site has a larger community, and a better API and so is a good candidate for a similar plug-in. And if you are a member, you would have access to your own colors and color schemes from the plug-in. They have patterns as well, but I didn't see any natural wood textures.

Curious if any Mac users have tried this? I got an email from a Mac user saying it's not working for them, but everything looks to be installed correctly.
With 400 downloads and no feedback to the contrary, I assume it's working for everyone. Thanks.

I can give it a go on my Mac tomorrow. Remind me if I don't get back to you.

On a Mac, if Mondrianum wasn't so easily available and seamlessly integrated into SU, I would be inclined to try. You can create your own schemes thru the Kuler site and access within SU.
-
That's just awesome! I'll definitely suggest the Mac user investigate this option. I had no idea.
Is there a link to get me started?

Thank you. But who will remind me to remind you?

Hi,
I can't read what's on your image, but this looks to me as this is an HTML error in the web dialog, not really a ruby error.
I've published (long ago) a similar plugin to generate colors based on the Munsell system. It can be found here: http://rhin.crai.archi.fr/rld/plugin_details.php?id=258
Hope this helps, -
