jPeg Screenshot of Bitdefender alert This is probably nothing...but, Bitdefender Internet Security 2013 has identified TT-Lib - 2.6.0\TT_Lib2\libraries\win32\tt_api.so as a Trojan.Generic.KD.811184

Either the signature recognized by Bitdefender is in error, or TT_api.so has been compromised. Just to be sure, would you please post the checksum of your original tt-cleanup plugin.

I had a round with an update of Kaspersky that did the same thing. They've since correct it. Same thing here. Report it to Bitdefender as a false positive.

You mean the tt_api.so file of TT_Lib2, right? Because that's what is flagged here - not CleanUp.

You are indeed correct in that I 'should have' referred to the tt_api.so file. Thanks for catching that.

I suspect why occasionally it gets flagged is that it's a wrapper to the Win32API in Ruby - which include many system calls that causes the AV software to freak out.

Before I advise Bitdefender that tt_api.so is not a Trojan, could you please confirm the hash checksum of your tt_api.so against mine? At least that way, I can back up my assertion to the Bitdefender folks.

For Simfonia (Sorry in French but very visual!
See my little animation (you can make the same with the fre version that I use
Minute 1.16 for lines apparition and the "Shift erase" for hide them minute 3.00

The normal Clean Up don't works, (the lines come back as soon as the animation restarts)

only the "Shift + erase" works!

So, you want to smooth+soften the edges instead of erasing them?

In this particular example, since the faces are quads, you can use QuadFace Tools to create soft+smooth triangulation edge.

Yes something like that but all in one clic! On my animation I had made one by one!
And you say all are quads , in this example yes, but in general case that can be be any thing!

Thom, excellent work. I downloaded and tried to install the plugin the usual manner (downloading directly to Plugins file), but it is still not appearing in the Plugins menue after I restart SU. It also did not work after I dragged and ropped the plugin in the Plugins file after an SU re-start. Please help, I am eager to try this plugin.

Any error message in the Ruby console? Do you have also installed the required TT_lib2 as stated in the very first post under "Requirements"?
