[Plugin Library] LibFredo6 - v14.6a - 18 Sep 24
-
Fredo, I downloaded the 12.5a rbz from sketchUcation, but it does not install into SketchUp. I have SU 17.2.2555 64-bit. After I click Install Extension from the Extension Manager, I select the downloaded rbz (7.15MB) and click Open. My Extension Manager flickers a bit and then disappears. After reopening Extension Manager, I look at the LibFredo6 plugin information, and it still says the previous version.
So I uninstalled the previous version and tried to install 12.5a again. This time, after reopening Extension Manager, I look and there is no LibFredo6 in the list.
Is LibFredo6 no longer compatible with SU 2017? Or is there some other problem?

LibFredo6 v12.5 is compatible with SU2017 (I use it on my Windows laptop and Mac). So, it must be something else...

Hello,
Probably my problem is an obvious thing, but every time I try to launch Fredo Corner, I got this messege: 'This version of Fredo Corner has expired. Please upgrade to the latest version'. I use paid licence of this plugin and before it worked without any problem. What should I do to fix it? Thank You for any help.MF

The licensing system was updated...Thank You TIG , I've checked all plugins and extentions. Everything is up to date. Is there any other way to check if SketchUcation Toolset is the right one?

I'm in Panic...
After updating the plugins LibFredo/FredoScale) they don't work anymore! When I click on the icons they don't even show the handles...I can't do anything. I'm lost without Fredo's tools! Help!
Is there a way to revert?

Can you open the Ruby console before launching FredoScale.
Which version of Sketchup do you run?

It looks like it is a problem of access rights.
When upgrading Sketchup 2022, did you install with 'Run As Administrator'?

The permission denied message would imply to me that SketchUp 2022 has not been installed correctly. Close SketchUp, find the downloaded installer, right click on it, and choose Run as administrator. When offered the options, choose Repair.

Thanks for a the help but I'm a bit embarassed to say that I didn't know the updates are not free anymore. I ordered the package deal, installed the updated Extension Store and now everything works like a charm....

After LibFredo6 v12.4a, many fredo plugins no longer work at all (FredoSpline, FredoScale, JointPushPull, etc.). When I click the plugin icon, nothing happens anymore. When I reinstall the old version (12.4a) back, everything works greate.
I have licenses for these plugins, so what happened to these LibFredo6 updates? I'm still using sketchup version 2019 because it worked fine for me so far. What could be the problem?
