What will the difference be between the 2 options?
That's not the same curve, but visually, with hundreds of points, they may look the same!

I tried these tools but I feel that not what I needed.
The begin and the end of the curves look too flat.
F Spline is better but still flat.I included an image here :
The curve which generated by the B Spline through points look smoother, but that plugin is hard to use and lack of editing tools.
So I hope you can add that to yours. -

So I hope you can add that to yours.Fredo doesn't need to add editing tools to this extension. You can already edit the curves created with it.

No, I mean that I hope he can add that type of curve to his plugin !!

I have some trouble when editing the curves.
I drew a curve in Side view
The I switch to Top view to edit control points
But when I back to Side view, the curve changed a lot !!
So, how can I move the control points along a specified axis (X, Y, Z)?
Thanks.

If you want to keep the curve in 2D, it's best if you start out by drawing it on a large rectangle. Or, you can set the camera to Parallel Projection and selected the appropriate standard view befor editing the curve. I like the large face option myself.

Or use the plugin WorkPlane.

I am using v1.9 with Sketchup Make 2017 on a Mac. Some of the curves do not allow me to edit them after being created. After selecting the curve, with a right-click I get the standard menu items and not the editing options. Some curves work and some don't. I've seen this with the Cubic Bezier Curve and Catmull Spline. It appears to have something to do with the number of control points. Simple curves and its OK. Curves with more control points and I loose the edit function. Any suggestions?

Share an example SKP file showing a curve that you can't edit.

Be careful that a contour generated by BezierSpline must remain a Sketchup Curve to be editable. If you cut it by another edge intersection or explode it, it won't remind that it was created by BezierCurve.
As Dave said, maybe it's best to post a sample model where you have the problem.

Curve on right is OK. Curve on left I can't edit. Both were made using Cubic Bezier Curve with precision set to 20.
-
I did some additional experiments. Drew a simple curve with Cubic Bezier Curve that I was able to edit. From there I added control points one at a time while editing. Once I got to 24 control points (not counting the two end points), I could no longer edit the curve. A right-click gave me the standard menu selections.
The attached file has two curves. The one on the right can be edited. The one on the left is a copy of the right curve, but one more control point has been added. It is no longer editable.

Thanks for signaling.
Actually, it is not related to the number of control points but to the number of edges of the curve.
For whatever reasons, there was a limitation to 500.I will republish without the limitation.

This release increases the maximum number of points in curves, even if it is not advised to have too many points in a curve.

Thanks! The update works great. I love this tool as I would not be able to do what I want without it.
