OK, got that app but the file is reported as having no splat contained. Talking about the tramway model.

The PLY file is a point cloud not a 3DGS gaussian splat.
If this was a true gaussian splat file it would be much larger than 7.1mb

Meshlab which I had forgot I had.

Yep, that point cloud had colour data applied to points.
