I know 3D printing has changed table top gaming. Is it the same for train modelling?

In 3D printing I am able to get models that don‘t exist. There are not many Tramwaymodels on the market and most time they are not good ones. Here I. Am get exactly what I want. But it is a lot of work and takes much of time.

I am using profile builder 1 but there is no option for rails

I can't remember v1 but v3 has an Along Path option that has rudinmentary support for branching paths.

I need a path in the middle and two rails (special profile) left and right, to follow the path.
