This one is just a test but I have to do something similar. I'll try to post the final model once it's done.

I painted it in Substance Painter. Didn't spend a lot time on it. Was testing unwrapping UVs in WrapR.

Been held up on a very annoying 'feature' of SketchUp that was causing WrapR to fail on certain meshes.

We fixed it today so it's back on track for release again.

Character Modeling would be somewhat exaggerated in this Minion case

... but at least I managed to make any (stupid) face expression 😛

I have recently seen a railings of wrought iron, a bit like shown below, in Hamburg.
The basic geometry of it is a square with slightly inward curved edges.
I present this little practice in front of a backdrop of the old Hamburg "Speicherstadt"...

                                (proxy is attached)

... and again a little "weekly" SubD exercise 😄
with a small guide how to texturize the snake´s lips to get a color transition from black to red,
done with it´s own simple texture using Fredo´s ThruPaint plugin …

                                  Enjoy

Very cool. I really like how you used a texture to blend between materials.

Yes, I just made a screenshot of my here used SU material library and pasted this screenshot in PS simply to pick these two colors for a linear color transition from red to black because I am too lazy to write the RGB values 😉
